My husband had a hard time with getting it installed, not sure if it was the handle and lock or our door but he had to call a friend to come and help.
But I love how easily the door opens and closes. Before switching the handle out we had a hard time getting the door open from the outside because the button wouldn't go down all the way. This button is so easy to press down and super smooth. The lock is super simple and sleek. I'm very happy with this.

Larry: Installation was quick, however my door had a similar handle of the same size, os it was basically just a swap out.

I can not speak to the deadbolt however, as installed an electronic lock at the same time and did not use it. But the inner mechanism were primarily metal in all the right places and it looks very nice after Installation.

Price was great, considering I purchased this set, plus two electronic deadbolts for the same price as this lock set at any local store! And I am sure the quality is the same... let's face it, everything is made in China now, right? Might be assembled in your country, but the parts all come from there... and likely the same factory as well!!

ILAHMACHEILAHMACHE: I try to save myself money by DIYing things around the house that I bought this past year myself. The door handle on my front door was really hard to open and so I bought this hoping it would make my life easier. As soon as I opened the package I realized how attractive the door knob actually is and once I got into installing it I realized it was pretty straightforward as long as you have your measurements correct on the cut out of your door. I know longer have any issues getting in my front door and as an added bonus it's really attractive!

Update** Horrible!!! Don't buy unless you like to be stranded outside your house without being able to get in!!! The turning mechanism on the inside of the thumb press stop working and seized leaving me unable to open my door at all. I had to call a locksmith and pay for it for them to Jimmy my door open almost breaking my frame. Horrible cheap item!!!!

Cecilia Anchelia: After comparing prices with Home Depot and Lowe's for similar products, I found the selection both sparse and very pricey. That's when I jumped on Amazon and found this much cheaper alternative. At first I was wary, but decided to order it anyway.

I just had the door hardware installed and not only does it look great, it's also of very sturdy construction and funcitons smoothly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Corina L.Corina L.: I had priced around for a long time and these are not cheap to find. This is a really great price and really heavy and sturdy.
Very easy to install and comes with great instructions.
Easy bar flip interior handle is nice and smooth to open.
Nice flat black but mine will be behind a screen door so if yours is in the direct sun it may get hot to the touch being black and all.
I had one prior on a south facing door and you could hardly open it, it was so hot in the south facing door.

Jacque : Pretty straight forward, didn’t need the dead bolt because we have a ring. Looks good works well.

It is pretty picky on that bottom hole and it being at the exact point if the locking mechanism is stressed at all the latch outside just flops. I used the template but it was a bit low not sure if my bit ran on me or if the template is off. Out side of that works as expected and installs easy.

Amazon Customer: This product from amazon basic is ok not all that but some reviewers are correct in terms of sturdiness which I mean on the inside, the handles main rod on the inside that holds the two handles is flimsy in terms of when putting through the adjustable latch at first that rod I thought broke off so I tried attaching it on the inside again and I did sorta fixed it, you just need to push it back into place but if amazon just makes sure that middle rod doesn’t come off and just make it one solid piece and not rotatable on the inside the house handle then this product is solid for the price . Sorry for my English trying to explain it as best as I can.
