Shaquille Stoutamire: We got two of these for our basement entertaining/game room. Very solidly satisfied but there were some very important things that we knew about coming in AND some surprises that might shy away certain people.

Pros:
- Price was a steal. I got two of these for $209 each.
- Extremely sturdy once you have it upright. I am not a small man - I'm 6'2" and 313lbs. and I feel completely comfortable sitting on this with my wife (who is small but thicc).
- From the reviews, I thought these would be smaller than they are. I know the measurements are in the description but people have complained about not being able to lay all the way out on this thing... I feel like I could sleep on just one of these just fine. Maybe I'm just used to having my legs hanging off a little bit but it felt fine to me.
- Comfort wise, my wife says that she can feel the wood the slightest bit but I don't feel anything. I could easily see myself having a Smash Ultimate party and going all night on these things.
- I saw a photo of someone who used two of these to make an extra large pseudo-chaise lounge and that's what REALLY sold me.

Natalie: Let me start by saying the only reason I chose this sofa over the other ones was because of the ratings. So let me break this down to you, they got 2 stars for delivering it quickly. Period
Haven't used it as a bed yet, its okay comfortable but not for more than 2 people, could deffinitely get better quality and much better service for a little more money elsewhere! Fabric is a little scratchy and seat is not only short wdth wise, but very low to the ground.

Story::
The allen wrench they provided is made from such skimp metal that after screwing one leg in the wrench started stripping, making it completely unusable! I just moved to a new state, and I have a very simple toolbox, and the other allen wrench I did have was too big for the screws. So, I "contacted the seller" as well as amazon and let them know what my issue was. Hoping for some kind of support from this company.

Bob. Oh, Bob.: ...I'm just not that person. Bear in mind, I'm not judging the product on the negatives I list here. All the information I needed was in the description, I just didn't stop to smell the roses before I ordered, primarily due to the excellent reviews.

In short, this sofa/futon is for smaller people people, on a limited budget, with limited space (or frequently on the move). If this sounds like you, this may be your perfect sofa. Despite arriving as a "couch in a box," I find it very sturdy, well upholstered, and lightweight (this is a plus for me where cleaning is concerned).

IMHO, however, this pretty much isn't for anyone anyone over 5'3", or those shorter than 5'3" who are more than a little overweight for their height. The seating area simply isn't deep enough to accommodate anyone of "average" height and even slants ever so slightly forward. Between the slat and a back that makes you feel as if you're sitting up board-straight, I feel as if I'm about to slide off the front of the sofa - and I'm only 5'8".

I do have to add that the shipping was incredible! I was quoted a couple of weeks, yet this thing was halfway across the country in a matter of days. So,...
