ADEBOWALE AROJOJOYE: After trying this cable, I agree with tge general fact that display ports provide a better quality than hdmi cable. My gaming was smoother and the colours were much more vibrant. Also you bare able to access more functionality of your pc with display ports. The cable is as described but I can not comment on the facts about 8K resolution because I do mot have a monitor of that capability. Overall, it is recommendable

Very nice build quality and sufficient length if your laptop output is top the left and monitor must be on the right.

Bruce B: As many articles confirmed, this cable that plugs directly to my laptop completely fixed my occasional screen flickering issue. If you have a DP to mini DP cable that's a few years old, and your screen occasionally flickers black, then try this cable!

Grace: I was having issues getting my Wacom tablet to work. Turns out the mini DP to DP cable I'd been using was unidirectional, so it only transmitted video data from mini DP -> DP, which meant the tablet couldn't receive the video transmission needed as it requires DP -> mini DP (graphics card to wacom link along with USB-a for data transmission, then converted to USB-c). The tablet instantly worked the moment I plugged this cable in.

In short, thank goodness for bidirectional cables, and I can confirm this works perfectly as intended!!

If you're using a graphics tablet with a desktop PC but are unable to get a display signal, try this bidirectional cable! Works wonders

Callones: ViewSonic monitor as second screen connected to my iMac 27" Retina display 5K late 2015. Fantastic! As soon as I connected this cable on both screens the image came by itself. You dont have to do anything. Excellent resolution. I recommend this cable 100%

Jonathan Diaz: 1440p and 144hz was only possible with HDMI but with this displayport cable my monitor finally recognized 165hz. Most people won't notice the difference but I payed heavily for that monitor so I better squeeze out every ounce of it. Cable is thick feels nice. So far it's exactly what I needed.
