SF Arlene living Michigan: I really like silicone utensils. This spatula is wide enough but not nearly deep or long enough for even a pancake.... sorry. I'm disappointed.

JLSBirdman: I like that this flipper is rigid but at the same time I don’t like that it is not flexible. Good that it is silicone base. Bad that it is too rigid in the handle and not willing to flex.

Guillermo Martinez Dibene: This works perfectly, it is quite hard and perfect for flipping pancakes and crêpes, plus it is non-scratch. Good purchase for these food items. I have also used for rolled omelette, which works perfect too. However, when it comes to other things (e.g. veggies, browning meat), this is not the tool you want as it is too wide and it makes the mixing harder.
GOOD for: pancakes, crêpes, rolled omelette, large pieces that needed flip in one attempt (e.g. a salmon fillet).
NOT GREAT for: smaller pieces that just need constant stirring (e.g. minced meat, diced vegetables)

Bud J: I just purchased a tamagoyaki pan to make that type of omelette and although pro chefs use chopsticks I felt better for me to use a spatula made for this pan.
It worked well except the edge is very firm and when trying to get under “roll” at the back of the pan, it was difficult. It would just push the roll. This explains why many pro chefs flip the roll while turning it with the aid of chopsticks since obviously chopsticks cannot get under the egg roll.
So I did the same and flipped while turning with the spatula.
