Dockside: I now have 2 of these. First one I purchased 5 years ago and it still looks like new (if you wash it). No issues at all, easy to use for BBQ needs and stainless steel seems to hold up very well. I have never put this in the Dishwasher, but you don't need to - it is easy to clean.

heartzipperheartzipper: We really LOVE this stainless steel spatula from Cave Tools! I have been through so many BBQ spatulas during summer time due to quality. Many spatulas I have had in the past had plastic handles that would either end up breaking or somehow get melted from getting set too close to a flame.
This spatula is of very high quality. It is a solid sturdy tool to use inside your home and out. We have used it inside with our cast iron griddle and outside with our grill. I really like the nice design of this spatula. Not only does it have a great look but it also has great features. It has a bottle opener feature handy for those of you that have a drink by your side while grilling during the summer. No need to have an extra item lying around in your way to use for that purpose.
Cave Tools Stainless Steel Spatula also has a serrated edge that I really like for those pesky packages you take out to the grill and forget something to open the package with. This edge is great for cutting those packages right open. It is also great for cutting your meat open a little bit to check how cooked your meat is. Michael Fox: The spatula arrived when promised so I was able to use it for a BBQ that day and I discovered it's beyond my expectations!
Great design, heavy duty stainless steel, definitely won't bend, flips giant thick steaks with ease, feels comfortable in the hand, cleans easily.
The leading edge is perfectly beveled and sharp, not so sharp to cause bodily harm like slitting your wrists when you're embarrassed about over grilling the meat, but beveled and sharp enough to scrape off any meat stuck to the grill WITHOUT EVEN TRYING! Every scrape keeps the grill top clean resulting in less brushing afterward.
The one serrated edge flawlessly cuts meat so that's your edge of shame for charring the meat, if you have a propensity for self punishment.
The bottle opener is a big plus, works really well and I love the location regardless of what some other comments have stated. I was so excited about using the opener that I used it on too many bottles of brew, passed out for a bit and ended up with some shame of charring. Though obviously no wrist slitting punishment or I wouldn't have the honor of writing a glowing review of the Cave Tool spatula.

Paul: There is no doubt this spatula exceeds it's current $14.99 price point. The market for grilling tools is saturated with products both very similar to one another and some quite novel. I was looking for a sturdy spatula that would stand up to weather, wear and tear, and time. I've been using this item for the past few weeks and am very happy with it. It is as sturdy as advertised with the cutting edge coming surprisingly sharp. I was a tad disappointed at first with the handle length as I like to keep my fingers and knuckles as far from the magma-hot grill as I can, but I've been using it with no issues; I was just being overly cautious. The spatula's bottle opener works fine, however, I don't envision myself using it if I have food particles and juices running down the head. That's a feature I find completely unnecessary and more in line with the novelty type products, but at least it draws attention to the product when you're on the deck hanging out with buddies and someone needs a "fresh one" opened up. I would recommend this product in a heart beat to anyone interested in a sturdy-feeling, nice-looking grilling spatula that should last me quite awhile.
