Bror guessBror guess: These bells have been great and saved us from many accidents inside. Our puppy learned very quickly to ring the bell to go potty. They are very sturdy and so far he hasn’t managed to break them by jumping on them too hard! However, we bought the stormy grey color and the color is not the same as the picture, they are more blue. But otherwise a good purchase.

Amazon Customer: We've only had these a couple days now, but so far so good! Before we had a few small bells tied together and hung on the door, which worked okay but they weren't that loud. If we weren't in the same area then we couldn't hear when she rang the bell. I ordered the bells in the purple plaid and love them.

First off, I didn't know they made bells specifically for puppy potty training. I ordered these because of the 3 bells down the ribbon, and the durability. It was an added bonus that you can unbutton the loop since we have it on our back door wall and not an door knob.

All in all, I would recommend this product. The bells are loud enough that you can hear them down the hall but aren't so obnoxious that it is bothersome. The color sticks out so it is more visible which is great. Lastly, they aren't made of cheap material so that when my bulldog puts the bells in her mouth they rip apart. Defiantly would buy again if needed!

Jacob Kolasch: These potty bells replaced some more expensive ones. These are better made, look nicer, and sound better. I like the loop and snap at the top, and the multiple bells along the non-adjustable length. They work well, as expected.

We have a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. She would never let us know when she needed to go potty, so we decided to try bells. It takes consistent use, but she understands and uses them. She will ring them if she's bored and just wants to play outside, but she understands she needs to let us know when she has to go potty now.

It's up to you and your dog with how well they work. But the bells themselves are well made and are loud enough to be heard.

Jennifer Rodriguez: We trained our Jack Russel to use potty bells in about 2-3 days but I truly believe that any dog can use these with encouragement and consistency. We just said "ring the bells" and jingle them ourselves, then "go outside and potty". We made it look really fun (I'm sure we looked silly but who cares) after a few times he bumped it with his nose. I'm not even sure if it was accident or on purpose but we made a BIG deal about it and said "GOOD ring the bells!!'. By the end of the second day he would paw at it on demand when we said "ring the bell" and then we would reward him and immediately go outside. By the end of the third day he ran up to it on his own when we were in the other room and rang it. We made sure to come running as fast as we could and make a big deal again and then immediately take him out. Granted we were potty training still so he was going out several times a day. If your dog is older and doesn't go outside it may take a few days more to get it down. But be persistent and your work will pay off. When it's really hot or cold outside it's really nice to not have to play the potty game going out several times and standing around to see if they have to go. This way...
