Jack & Charlotte Strauwald: Working great 16 months and easy to install. These 9ah batteries are the same dimensions as the 7ah batteries but stronger. A nice upgrade for my dual stair lift system.

Dave: Upgraded from original 7 amp batteries on Acorn stairlift which have smaller crimped terminal ends. Not a problem because the terminal ends will expand to accommodate. Mine came with a card to return if necessary. Arrived a full week earlier than I expected. Expect 4 to 5 hour initial charge in an Acorn stairlift. Reading a few other reviews leads me to believe that some should leave this to an expert. Make sure you allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Code 4C will appear when charge is complete. I expect these to last about 60 months. Measure your old batteries before ordering.

Richard Coen: These batteries were purchased to replace the Mighty Max 7 ampere- hour units that lasted less than a year in our stair lift, which gets frequent use. However, the push - on "Disconnect" terminals,on the higher capacity model are the 1/4 inch size, so the smaller female connectors on the stair lift battery cables do not fit. I solved theis problem by making up 4 adapters of a short piece of wire with the smaller size male connector on one end and the larger size female connector on the other, rather than chanfing the connectors on the stair lift battery cables.
