Sacto1951: After nearly 7 years a rechargeable car jump starter (Stanley Fatmax with compressor) would not hold a charge. I took the Fatmax apart and found that the battery was the same as this 12V, 9AH battery. This battery is exactly the same size as the original. Took just a few minutes to put the new battery in the Fatmax. Everything now works! BUT, the Fatmax is not intended to be repaired by the end user! This is bad for the environment as the battery, as well as the rest of the device, should not be put into the trash. In the future, I plan to avoid buying any product that has batteries that cannot be easily replaced. The Fatmax is a product with a limited design life, basically 3 to 5 years. This battery extended that time another 5 years and allowed for the old battery to be properly recycled.

M. T.: So I was pleasantly surprised when Mighty Max sent me another battery on their own volition to fix my terminal problem. The NB terminals for the new battery is oriented exactly as pictured (the original battery that was sent had the terminals oriented parallel to the width of the battery and not parallel to the length of the battery as pictured). I will give it to Mighty Max, very surprised that they listened to comments here on Amazon, and made things right. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars, and will update after i install the battery.

wezzz: this was a great option for a replacement battery in my "Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC300XL". it was a bear to reroute the wires and get it closed again, but that is no fault of the battery. saved me from spending $86 on a new jump pack, and saved me quite a bit over the oem replacement battery as well. thus far it has performed as well as the original battery, but im not running intense tests on it or anything. it was installed in feb 2020. if it wears out or fails, ill update this review, but so far so good!
