American Citizen: I've used these for my Verizon Fios backup battery as well as small solar powered projects. They last a long time as far as charge-discharge cycles when they are charged properly. They also handle high temps (123F) well. I am a repeat customer and can recommend these batteries.

Eduard Gorbunov: Most batteries of other brands I purchased previously lasted close to three year or longer. Might Max batteries lasted only for 17 months. My APC XS-1500 UPS started beeping this morning, indicating that the batteries are dead. The batteries have 1 year warranty... Yeah, right... Time to try some other brand.

MT - Colorado: These were cheaper here than from a local store. Only issue is proper disposal of the dead batteries. My UPS just did not give me any warning it was dead. The power went out and everything immediately shut off. Pulled out the ups and tested the batteries, they failed. ordered these replacements, installed and back in business. they work great and I expect several years of service from them.

Make sure the size and power output match your UPS. Installing can be hard on the knuckles. and most UPS' have color coded wiring (if that is your use) but I find it handy to take a picture of the batteries and connectors before I disconnect them. Just in case I get batteries with + and - poles on the wrong side. I am not sure if these are industry standard. and also provides me with a reference for which cable goes where.

Wes: Can't speak to longevity yet. These replaced batteries which basically failed after about 3.5 years. I am hoping these last longer. (Replaced another non APC brand.) I like they are 9ah as opposed to 7ah like some on the market. They were a little hard to install - my APC UPS takes two batteries which originally come tightly taped together to a plastic piece which they connect to, but it isn't too hard with a little coordination. My large desktop runtime is between 14 and 19 minutes now, depending on current power draw. If I can get 5 years of useful life out of these, I would give them 5 stars. We'll see. On a side note, sometimes it is hard to know with batteries of other brands what really fits and what doesn't. I almost didn't consider this brand at first. The problem for me was the measurements. Sometimes the height is measured with the terminals included and sometimes without - so two batteries with the exact same physical dimensions might list different sizes. Try to look at a spec sheet from the manufacturer. (I think this one includes theirs on Amazon.) You can see the battery size both with and wo the terminal so you can be sure it matches what you currently have. These...
