We purchased an older APC 600 UPS unit at an auction and when powering it up, it beeped constantly. Come to find out that this was a possible indicator of a dead/dying battery. I searched and found this replacement battery and upon installation, everything operated exactly as desired. Great way to revive an older UPS unit at a fraction of what a new, similar unit would have cost! It was shipped quickly, packaged well, and did what we needed it to do. What more can you ask?

One week: So Far so good. I read many of the comments of how this battery will stop working in 6 months or less, so when it stops working I will have no one t blame but myself. It actually does substitute the RBC17 which is about 1/3 of its price so I didn't mind. The last APC RBC17 I had only lasted a year, so even if I have to replace this battery again, it will still be cheaper than buying the original one.
UPDATE: SO....... THE BATTERY ONLY LASTED 2 WEEKS. LMAO!! I GUESS THE REVIEWS WERE RIGHT, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS. I HAVE NO ONE BUT MYSELF TO BLAME FOR THIS ONE.

Arrived quickly, installed easily and seems to work fine though time will tell about longevity. I haven't run down the battery so can't compare how many minutes it lasts. The tabs are smaller than the OEM battery but slipped on and worked without my bothering to crimp the connector wires smaller.

The battery came ready to install directly. Simple to remove the old one and install the new one. Got the green lights right away as soon as I installed it. It's working just as it should.
