Amazon UserAmazon User: The battery on my JNC 660 jump starter died recently. My multi-meter was only reading about 8 volts DC at the positive and negative terminals on the battery, and the DC voltage read on the jump starter's voltage check red button was showing 0 volts DC.
Using the same digital multi-meter, the DC voltage reading on the Mightymax 12V 22AH battery I received was exactly 12.99 volts, so the factory JNC battery was definitely faulty.
Overall this is an excellent price for a replacement battery to the JNC660. The installation is easy, but there are two adhesive strips attached to the JNC660 factory battery that require some force to remove from the jump starter's shell. An electric screwdriver with a narrow shaft helped with removing and reinstalling the Phillips screws quickly.
