Dakota Dude: I've had this Schumacher Instant Power jump starter pack for a lot of years and it has saved my bacon plenty of times. I worked solo for a lot of years in very rural locations... places where you don't want to deal will a dead battery because you left the lights on or your battery was on it's last leg and wouldn't start the vehicle on a chilly morning. I had it rigged so the jump starter pack would be charging whenever I was driving from location to location. The battery power always read 100%. But after years of rugged use, the battery power indicator started to show below 50% and even lower and eventually went to 0. I could never get it back up to a full charge. After a complete test of the battery I concluded the Schumacher unit was still fine but the battery had seen better days. Looked on amazon for a replacement based on battery type and dimensions. This one is a perfect fit. It's a bit of a challenge to get the battery cover off the the Schumacher unit but the swap is easy and I am back in business. I did think about replacing the entire unit because I have used in many different ways for a lot of years, but looking at the replacement cost made trying a replacement battery...
