cary henry: UPDATE - the manufacturer got back in touch with me and sent a new battery out. Process was relatively simple and within a week I had a new battery. Let's hope this one lasts longer than 6 months.
Junk battery made it exactly six months using it for my electric gate with a 20W solar charger. Now it won't hold a charge. Supposed to have a one year warranty, but manufacturer hasn't responded to my warranty request.

Sixeven: Battery has failed in only 4 months. Only operates a gate occasionally. Connected to floating battery charge/maintainer. Cell has collapsed and will not hold charge above 8v. Clearly under warranty but we will see if anyone responds or honors the request for replacement. I will update with my experience.
UPDATE*** The company stood behind its warranty and replaced the battery with quick shipping too. Excellent customer service.
