Gail: Really enjoyed this book, nice twist towards the end. The only thing that seemed to spoil it for me was the sexual encounters were too drawn out.

Sianny banany: So I’m still not sure why it all had to go down the way it did. Because aside from killing off a few douches, the whole “meeting” only really served to anger Jess and her team. I don’t understand why Sebastian couldn’t have just come clean like he did to Ivy House.
Obviously that would have negated the need for this entire book, and I’ll never ask for LESS books by KF Breene. But I’m just a little confused as to the why - ignoring the vision part of it.
Confusion aside, the midlife crew banded together in an unstoppable force as usual. Jessie keeps growing exponentially stronger at a breakneck pace and honestly, I can’t wait to see Momar quaking in his boots.
The heat turned up between Jessie and Austin, the smallest things triggering their possessive rage which then triggers their mating horn. Much lusty primal banging ensues. These books are pretty tastefully written though. The smut isn’t particularly descriptive but for once, I’m ok with that. Also, hot muscular man cooking in just an apron? Yeah, I get it, Jess. I get it.
With every new character we meet, we get a new layer to the larger team as a whole, and I’m really...

LA Hill: I'm loving the world of these stories! The characters are so odd and funny, you'll laugh out loud. Jacinta is the best part of the stories. A 40 y/o divorced mom, she leaves the ho-hum world behind and finds her destiny as caretaker of a magical house, horrid moving doll army and all! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Kimberly: Great story!
The mating slide has started in the last book for the Gargoyle and the Polar bear is ready to hear her say three important words. But every time Jessie starts to say them, her beast shuts her down. It seems that Jessie's beast needs something to show that her mate will always fight for her. Gargoyles like violence.
Now they have three weeks left to train and get ready for a week with other Mages at Elliott Graves' Mountain top retreat. His house is in the tunnels of the mountain.
Meanwhile, Sebastian is excited and worried at the same time. He needs to come clean with Jessie so she doesn't kill him. This plan started 10 years ago, his late sister was a Seer, she saw Jessie become the new Ivy House heir, knew her brother would be summoned to teach her magic, her mating, everything. But she had a heart attack before she finished the prophesy. So Sebastian doesn't know how this will end.
When a mage from the event sends a letter signed by Elliot to Jessie, they all go and he catches Jessie unaware and hits her with magic. They tie her up and drag the others into another room. The fool just made his own death bed. When Austin comes charging...

Sharleen Gamble: Couldn't put it down.
My children have been into Dungeons and Dragons since they were young and still are as adults. I found the game a tad juvenile for my taste when I tried it. This book quenchef my need for a post-divorce adult relationship story, and it delivered. However, once the fantasy delved into the D&D type action, I was skeptical. But I must say, this will give you way more than you could ask for.
Someone PLEASE make a movie, a series or a TV show for this! I'm HOOKED!!

jacq: Elliott Graves has issued an invitation.
For mages across the land to come to his secret lair. Obviously Jessie is one of those mages.
There’s a whole heap of story building in this one and more development of the mating bond which is cute.
I enjoyed this

J. Welling: This book picks up right where the previous book left off. Lots of action, romance and humour make this one very entertaining story. This is such an amazing cast of quirky characters that work so well together. Danger is coming and Jessie will have her hands full getting ready for one epic battle. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Patricia Finney: I somehow bought this book instead of the first in the series but never mind. The author made sure I would have some idea of what was going on, the book held my attention, the shifter-gargoyle sex was a lot of fun & so were the battles.

Precise Disarray: I am up to date with the story, and really enjoyed everything I read. I dont rehash what I read (not a book report here), but just my overall impression. Fun thing about reading, what we choose and enjoy is highly subjective. Something you love, I may fine stupid. Something I love you may not be able to handle. Whatever. Give something a try and move on.
The Levelling Up series was not something I expected to like. I had learned of this book on a random FB sponsored ad. I dont recall what drew me to it, but let me tell you none of this is my typical genre to read from. I think it was the appeal of reading of a character in her 40s. I'm in my 40s. Nice to see the main star to be someone outside the typical 20 something. Figured I'd give it a go, and if I didnt like it I have the option to stop, yes?
The first chapter was meh. Though, I tend to be a little snarfy when I first begin a new book. Takes a little to get into it. But then once it started rolling, I was so very much hooked. I think once I realized that the writer can write, can flesh out detail, can give life to not only main characters, but give a lot to side characters, and I can imagine the surroundings so...
