Michelle F: I cannot say enough good things about this book… it was so beautiful, so heartbreaking, but, so filled with love. I just, don’t have the right words I think. Despite the trials and tribulations Archer and Bree faced in this story, they still get their happily ever after and I don’t think two people could deserve it more. Honestly, everyone should read this book. It reminds us to be kind even when we’ve been shown no kindness, to love when we’ve been shown no love.. and to love wholeheartedly. Just, wow. I just loved this book so much. Be prepared to cry, to laugh and most importantly, to fall in love.
There is spice in this book too and it’s real good too, don’t get me wrong. Archer Hale knows what he’s doing. But, I found the parts I was really grasping onto, the ones where my stomach took flight with butterflies were all the soft, quiet moments between Archer and Bree. For someone who couldn’t physically speak, he was loud and so clear with his own way of speaking and his intentions, it was just so beautiful. Everyone deserves to be loved the way Archer loved Bree and the way she loved him in return.
“I stand by my logic, though. I think love is...

Keri Daniels: I came into this book with the expectation of crying lots of tears. This book is known for that around the book community. I typically cry about every little thing in almost every book. I did not, however, cry while reading this one. It was sweet, beautifully written, and emotional in its own way. I adored the overall message conveyed throughout this story. Show people kindness and respect. Different doesn’t equate to being “wrong” or less than. Definitely worth a read!

MaeMae: Archer’s Voice has been my favourite novel ever since I read it last year. So when I found out a Special Edition was coming out, I knew I had to have it! This book was worth every dollar. It’s very high quality. I love the gold foiling, the sprayed edges and the annotations. This special edition is officially my most prized possession on my book shelf. Forever in love!
Here is my actual review from Goodreads from when I read the paperback edition:
“…the loudest words are the ones we live”
I do not know why it took me so long to read this book; I wish I had read it sooner. My love language is words of affirmation. But after reading Archer Hale’s story, I learned to value silence, everything happening in between words.
The love in this book felt so sincere and intimate. I was in tears because I could feel Archer and Bree’s love for one another illuminating off of the book. The story perfectly encapsulates love in a way that words cannot fully describe.
Archer’s Voice is more than just a love story. Who knew you could learn so much about life from a man who does not have a voice. That even silence can be the loudest and most...

Jennifer: This was a roller coaster of emotions, everything from happiness and giddiness to anger and sadness.
The things Archer went through as a seven year old boy was horrible, he wasn’t the cause of the incident but he still got the blame on him.
Archer deserved someone to help him out of his shell and explore the world. Just like Bree did for him.
Bree too went through horrible stuff that no one should and Archer helped her to get back on her life and fight her demons.
The love Archer and Bree has for each other is amazing.

I could not wait to read this book! Virtually no one, from the product reviews on Amazon to the Editor's reviews on Goodreads, gave this a bad review. I should clarify that I don't actually read any reviews. I just look at the star rating and skim for key phrases ("I could not put this down", "Interesting storyline", "Hot, hot, hot", etc.) I find that many book reviews today are basically book reports. Someone feels the need to go chapter by chapter, almost line for line and tell you what has already been written. Spoiler city. And one of my biggest pet peeves.
However, I still managed to build up quite a bit of anticipation based on the little snippets I read about Archer's Voice. Here's why I was excited:
- The hero is NOT an alpha male.
- The hero has a disability.
- The sex scenes would be graphic but not gratuitous.
- It might be a tearjerker.
- It's a classic, beautifully written love story.
- It is a standalone...

FireSerene Reads: I don't know what to say. Archer's Voice took my breath away!
This is gorgeous. Running away is not always an answer but sometimes it's the only way to find yourself. And Bree found that peace and contentment in his arms.
“They don’t know who you are, Archer. They have no idea. And they don’t deserve to know. Don’t let their judgment hurt you.”
This is my favorite part of it. Bree helping him to be confident of how the way he is. To let his voice be heard. To let him walk away from silence. The way she is the only one who dared to talk to him in that town is heartbreaking.
This book makes me realize once more the act of kindness. Save the best for last right? I regret of not having read this one the soonest!
