Rgrainer: Danielle and Bennett are doing well on Wisteria Island. Then Bennett hires a good looking doctor and a new resident comes to live there, as well. Between the two new people and a hurricane bearing down, Wisteria Island is not the calm, relaxed place it usually is. Will they survive the hurricane? Can everyone survive the trials of trusting and living so close together when it hits? Will Bennett's dream survive intact?

The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some kisses but no steam. The main characters are vivid and engaging. The secondary characters are as enjoyable and quirky as in the first story. This has some fun parts and some serious issues as well.

Trycia Elston: I loved this series and hope more stories will be added to it as I have fallen in love with the characters . I loved the whole idea of an island just for seniors. There have been many seniors who have been forgotten and considered too difficult or eccentric to be with their own families so this island is truly a unique place. I really appreciate the attentive Main characters and caregivers and their own stories mixed in with the residents stories. When the main character nurse arrives she has to win the trust of the locals and while attending to their needs she receives a suitor and has much growth in her own life in the process. . I loved seeing the residents come alive, help each other and also learn from their own mistakes and also learn to forgive others too. Beautifully written with interesting characters and storylines.

Gail A. Ryckman: I love books that are part of a series. We get to know the characters on a deeper level. Rachel Hanna didn't disappoint with this 2nd in the Wisteria Island series. This story is about quirky yet wonderful seniors who live on an island. They each have wonderful personalities that will make you laugh and want to move to the island yourself. While this is a stand-alone novel, be sure to read Wisteria Island first so that you can get to know everyone. As a bonus, we also get to hear how our friends from the South Carolina Sunset series are doing. It's like a reunion of friends. Enjoy!
