Ana C.: Two of us installed this. It was all fine until we did the roof panels. Those little metal clips on the panels just keep falling off... THis needs to be improved. Better instructions would make this go much smoother.... instead of laying all the panels down with these little metal clips on and then having to go back and install the Y parts (the screwing in blocks) just to have to lift the roof panels again and have these metal clips fall off again! Just install the roof panels as you go the first time! And then screw it down into your base/deck material after its all done (unless you are sure you are 100 Square) because of if you are not, good luck with that! Hope it lasts!

Puppylover10Puppylover10: Like others have said, once the gazebo is put together, it is extremely solid and sound. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and needs to be a lot more detailed particularly with the roof panel installation. There’s a video by JEREMIAH MCINTOSH on YouTube that actually shows how to install the roof panels on a gazebo very similar( if not exactly the same) as this one. A few things I suggest:
- start installing the panels from the center and work your way towards the corners. Make sure to keep the flanges that the panel bolts go through (D14& D13 I believe) loose to allow for some movement. Tighten after all panels have been installed.
-some of the bolt holes will not line up. Using a drill with the proper Allen key, use it to wiggle and “drill” the bolt into the panels and and flange. Once there, you can then tighten the bolt cap. Start at the corners. As you tighten and slip the bolts and grommets on, the other panel holes will align and become easier to bolt down.
- plan on 2-3 days minimum with this gazebo. You will need at least two people while three or four in certain instances will make things much easier.

Ashraf Bani Domi: The installation was hard, however they have clear manual instruction. But it's really worth it 👌

Amazon Customer: We purchased another Gazebo that came in 5 boxes but 2 of the boxes were from another size/model all together. After two weeks we were refunded BUT then we had to dispose of it. This model had superior finish, was package impeccably with no damage with nothing missing. Excellent purchase.

Kelly KKelly K: If you are someone that does not have patience then I would recommend NOT attempting putting this together. Directions are just pictures with no context. It took about 3 days to put together. You will need at minimum 2 people, 3 would be even better, my husband and I were able to tackle this ourselves. The framing was the easy part… then you get to roof assembly, this was the most challenging part trying to get the pieces lined up with the screw holes then kept stable so you could assemble. Some panels were hard to get into framing so you may need to use some strength to get them locked in place. I also recommend taping the panel brackets so they stay in place because they will fall off as you try and put the panels in place. Also keep all the screws and hardware in package until you need them. Many of the tips in the reviews were helpful and didn’t make sense until you actually start assembling yourself. You will just need to use common sense and find a method that works best for you. I read a few reviews where some had issues with the roof leaking, not sure how this could happen if assembled correctly since the pieces overlap with a good seal. We had a hard rain and no roof...

johnj7777: When the Gazebo is done, it is very sturdy and attractive. I haven't had it very long, but it is obvious that it won't leak if you assemble it correctly. Also, the assembly is easy - until you get to the point where you need to assemble the roof panels. I don't think I would have been able to assemble it without the advice I found in these reviews. However, it took me a long time to figure out what they were saying, so I wanted to try to explain it more clearly:
The roof is divided into 10 sections and each section has an upper (smaller) piece and lower (larger) piece. There are a few things you need to know about assembling them that will take it from being almost-impossible to no-so-hard:
1) At each end, the roof is divided into 4 triangular sections. It is important to assemble these sections before assembling the rectangular middle sections. The reason for this is that you need to install the smaller (top) triangle from ABOVE and you can't do that if there is already a roof above your head.
2) Each section is held in place by sliding into a groove on either side. Trying to get the section to fit into both grooves at the same time is challenging. Also,...

Jacqueline: Updating to add that the missing pieces were sent from China and we were able to complete the gazebo. They also gave a $20 reimbursement. The gazebo is nice overall. We did run in to a few issues during the construction.
Unfortunately two pieces of the roof are missing making it impossible to complete the construction of the gazebo and rendering it useless. The seller has responded claiming that they have contacted the manufacturer to send the “custom” parts. They are not custom. They are sitting in one of the boxes in a warehouse somewhere. After some back and forth messaging, they offered a laughable $20 compensation (on a $3000 gazebo that we are unable to complete). This has been very frustrating. Do not recommend. Had we received all of the piece, I think it would have been very nice. Seems well made and easy enough to put together (IF you have all the parts).
