Fitch: First, I have to compliment the delivery. The gazebo comes in 5 boxes but the FedEx man willing took all 5 boxes to the back yard and placed them next to the patio where it was going to be constructed. I hired 2 men to put this together for us because my 84 year old husband uses a walker and was unable to assist in any way. There are 178 pieces to this thing - not counting the numerous screws and hooks and you really do need to get them all out and organized before you try to do any construction. Follow the instructions or you will get to go back and take something off later. So far its been together for 2 weeks and way too hot to even try to sit outside except early in the morning. (Missouri humidity and heat index of 103-110) It's wonderful to have shade and I can already say we will need to put in a ceiling fan to keep some air moving when our humidity is up. It has rained one short burst and the 2 middle joints on the gutter system (12 foot side) were leaking. Not sure if the screws just need to be tightened or a little caulking will solve the problem. This was what we needed to be able to put our back yard and patio to any use since it faces south with nary a tree in site....

J. Merrill: Product arrived in 5 boxes. Using a dolly, this 50 year old, not athletic woman, moved all the boxes into the garage.
It took about 2 hours to unpack and layout all the pieces to inventory. In about another 2 hours, I assembled the leg posts, side rails and roof beams.
Tip: have a drill or at least a ratchet screwdriver with the correct allen size bit. Makes all those tiny screws go in much faster.
The next day was our build day. Took 3 people about an hour to get the structure standing with the corner brackets, end caps and curtain runners.
Tip: We decided not to secure the posts to our deck until we were done figuring we would need the extra wiggle room to get the roof panels on. We were right. Screwing the legs to the deck was the very last thing we did.
Next was putting the roof on.
Tip: Assemble all the roof legs and cross bars on the ground. Also put the roof panels that go above the vent on too. Those were the most difficult to slide in. We did not use the brown plastic spacers and double side tape as it would not stick and the plastic will not say on the metal when you try to slide it into the groves. Guess we will see if they were actually necessary in...

Bob K: First the con's:
There are literally hundreds of screws nuts and bolts that one has to stick into places. This is probably the most time consuming part of the project. I think it took me an hour just to assemble the 4 cross beams with the curtain rails. It would have gone a lot quicker if I'd had someone helping me.
One of the screws had a sharp edge and I cut myself a couple of times. I would have eliminated it, but I was concerned I would need all the screws I got.
One of the screws had a messed up Allen hole... or what ever it's called. I couldn't get the Allen Wrench to go into it. I put it aside and intended to use it as the last screw.
Not all of the pieces had identifying labels. Only one of the M1 pieces had a label. I used it last so that I would remember which pieces where M1. Half of the curtain rails had labels... you have to identify duplicate pieces by their appearance. At first, this was troubling as I thought I was missing parts. It turned out, I was not.
Pros:
With literally hundreds of screws, nuts, and bolts, I was surprised that I had issues with only 2. What's more, there were enough extra screws, nuts, and bolts that I could have tossed...

Adrienne: Sturdy structure. 12x10 is a perfect size. Construction was slightly difficult. Following directions is important. Must work slowly and methodically. Patience is required. This gazebo compliments any deck or patio. Very happy with this purchase.

Zee: The predrilled holes are not very accurate, especially in the roof. It is so bad that the screws are unable to fit, so the roof is still unfinished. I’m not sure what I can do to fix this.

Caitlin DavisCaitlin Davis: We searched all over for a gazebo for our back patio, as we get very little shade. We ultimately decided on this one and have been loving it! I can’t speak too much to the install as we hired a local contractor. It took two of them a full day but they didn’t have any major issues. The quality is great as it seems nice and sturdy and it looks really nice. The ability to pull the curtains to move with the sun has been helpful as well.
