MEISON Electric Kettle: Perfect for Pour Over Coffee & Tea

Kathleen Carlson: This kettle is just so dang PRETTY! It just arrived, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It is just the right size for my small kitchen - and small family. I can’t see it being big enough for a large family, as the capacity is one liter. But this is just fine for me. It is not particularly fast to boil, about 8 minutes from cold, so if that’s an issue, look elsewhere. From my point of view this is nearly the perfect kettle, comfortable handle for my arthritic hand, precise pouring due to the small spout - and did I mention that it is SO pretty? I recommend this heartily.

James Middleton: It is a bit smaller than we expected, but its design is nice, as in the photo, and it does work quickly for the three times we've tested and used it so far. The water heats in about 2-3 minutes, it shuts off automatically, and it's not too hard to reach inside to give it a good post-use scrubbing. However, the package for the teapot was the shelf-ready retail package, with a mailing label slapped on it - and in one corner, the spout had worked its way through the cardboard in transit and was sticking out about 1/4 inch. To its credit, it was solid enough to withstand whatever blunt encounters it may have had via the USPS, and the spout was unscathed in spite of its shipping challenge. It also must have been in a nearby Amazon center, for it made it here in just a couple of business days.

Mary Berry: I searched a long time to find a small electric kettle. In our family, there is never a time we Need to boil a whole liter of water at once. This kettle is the perfect amount for 2-3 cups of coffee or tea. It takes less than 5 minutes to fully heat. No temp control, it just boils it. I usually shut it off a bit early, or wait a few minutes til it cools.

Really helpful for our morning routine and the perfect size :)

ash_mck: Updated: reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement! I am so pleased with how this kettle performs—definitely beats stove boiling water and it holds just the right amount of water. May not be as fancy as other electric kettles, but the stainless steel design and controlled pour from the gooseneck make it a definite buy. It's also just adorable.

Previous: This kettle is so cute! I am excited to try it. I am a little disappointed that it arrived damaged. The front is dented for some reason, though there isn't any signs of damage on the sides of the box. It heated correctly, no leakage. I'm happy it's stainless steel and there isn't any plastic inside or near the water.

bmlamb: This is replacing one of the larger electric kettles, which we had for years.
That one had an electrical issue, the cord would get very hot, could not touch it when heating, sparks ended that pot.
This kettle has a very solid, three pronged plug, that stays cool to the touch, much safer.
I love the size of this kettle, plenty of hot water, and the pour spout is very targeted. Nicely balanced.
Auto shut off works as it should, this pot is also less noisy than our larger one was, much appreciated.
The outside will heat, not an issue, there is a very comfortable handle to protect you.
If nothing changes, this is my dream pot, it looks great on my kitchen counter, and works like a charm!
Highly recommend, look no further.
