Brian C: This is my second camera. The first one started going through a set of batteries in about four hours. contact with the manufacturer was prompt and I was told that they should last 8 hours which didn't seem quite right since out of the box they lasted three days. For that reason I am giving a 4 star.
The new camera (exchanged the old one) has lasted four plus days on a set of batteries.
The video is excellent quality and the IR lighting appears to be quite good (I have it set on the medium setting). Photos are also excellent and I have the setting on the highest resolution. There are times that it seems things may have gone on that are not recorded. Since we have ravens coming in all the time it may be that the Ravens are resetting things behind my back.
Overall I am quite happy with the replacement camera. I think that the info that the mfg gave me is flawed badly and frankly I almost did not exchange for a new one. It is quite outrageous to think of changing 8 batteries every 8 hours.

Hen: Nice crisp photos and videos. Viewing angle of 90 degrees could be wider but for a back yard trail camera (for foxes, deer etc) highly recommended.

Bruce Johnstone: I bought this camera to monitor some beaver activity. It has good range Beaver tend to be wet so temperature is closer to background temp. It will detect motion and trip camera before IR will pickup temp difference so need to use video settings. Warm dry animals and birds show up much sooner on the video than the colder beaver do. Setup was easy. I did notice that once in awhile when changing card it will show card not detected. It will need to format card again. That is easy to do on the menu. In the 3 months i have been using this camera changing card on a daily basis this has only happened 3 or 4 times. It has done a good job for me. If I can catch it on another Amazon sale I may buy another.

Irène: Un petit souci quand-même, elle s'est arrêté de filmer et de prendre des photos pendant 10h, juste au moment de l'intrusion.
Mais on a changé pour des piles de qualité et là, bingo on a les photos qu'on voulait!

stories: The media could not be loaded. La caméra a fonctionné correctement pendant deux mois (bonne qualité photo et vidéo, de jour comme de nuit), mais depuis quelque jour les vidéos ne se déclenchent plus la nuit alors que les photos restent de bonne qualité. Aucun problème le jour.

Mr Alan F: I had left an earlier review with 1 star now revised to 4, as I couldn't get any photos at night.
Left a message with the seller but no response.
However after undertaking a factory reset i am now getting photos of good quality at night the activation is excellent at a very good range.
