Scott Branham: I’m assuming they dry rotted or something, UV rays maybe. Both the lenses split open on the camera in less than 6 month. Purchased it in September of last year and by February the lenses were cracked open.

A. WhittierA. Whittier: The media could not be loaded.  Trail cam worked fantastic the first month I had it out, lots of wildlife images and picking up movement much further out than I expected. Night images never showed actual subject that set it off, but I wasn’t too concerned. After the first month, I’ve noticed that the camera has been less frequent on capturing subjects triggering it and often just catching the tail end as they leave the viewing field. Changed batteries and made sure viewing field was clear. Hopefully the next check will show the same results I was seeing initially. Great image and video quality, dependability may come up short.

Going Hunting: I like the on camera review however not as clear as I would like. The pictures are a bit grainy however subjects can be identified. I use camera to view wildlife activity .

pscales216pscales216: Initially I liked this camera. The daytime pictures are really quite good and the motion detection is very good. However, I use this to keep track of my deer. It barely illuminates 10 yards away and past that, everything is completely black. It's useless at night. In addition, while adjusting the strap on it today, one of the loops in the back broke off completely. If you just want some pretty pictures of birds, squirrels, or rabbits in the daytime, it's fine I guess. If you want anything at night or long term durability, buy a quality brand. Moultrie has always been good to me
