I love everything about this electric kettle. It’s pretty, and when it is turned on the blue lights are so cool. The water boils sooo quickly, and the carafe is not heavy at all. Ergonomic design, ease of use and aesthetically pleasing.

After 7 months of regular use, the kettle stopped powering on. But, as other customers recommended, I contacted the Megawise customer service directly through their website chat function. The chat provided a fast review of the issue and ultimately confirmed the product had an issue and shipped a replacement. Chat took about 7 minutes. I received the replacement today, only about two days after the chat. Despite the short lifeapan of the first prouct, the customer service is excellent.

Can’t go wrong, boils water, does the job. It’s hard to find a kettle where the water doesn’t contact the plastic. This kettle is one of them. There is a tiny sliver of plastic above the stainless steel at the spout. It’s the lid. If you pour slowly, no contact. If you lift the lid before you pour… no worries. No plastic at all.

This is a simple, very inexpensive electric tea kettle — that does the job. And the combination of glass, silver and black makes it an elegant addition to our kitchen countertop. We used to have a fancy electric tea kettle that cost us double the price, and it didn't do a better job, on the contrary, it would keep boiling and boiling for a while until it would shut off, wasting energy and spreading humidity all around.
