BCW: We bought this for our Mastiff/St. Bernard cross, in order to be able to walk him until he finishes his obedience training & learns dome manners. He’s a goofy, rebellious teenager with tons of energy, I am small & without it he takes me for a drag. I do bot agree with these collars, BUT with a choice or rehoming him or using it just so I can manage him, we bought the collar.

It IS very sturdy, but we have found adding & removing links to be a major challenge, even with heavy duty pliers. We also had to buy 2 collars, leaving us with superfluous closing parts, ad it was not long enough to fit his xl neck. This just proved to be very expensive.

Orher than those 2 nighlung issues, it is a really good collar and I recommend, IF you have not other alternatives in dog collars to manage your dog’s stength.

Jazz.27: I’ve had this product for a few months since I ordered it. Should have left a review earlier. I have a 100lb Rottweiler. This prong WILL NOT withstand that amount of weight. The prong has snapped open from the prongs themselves 3 times while trying to train my dog to stop pulling so much. Looking back at it, I never even got the black nylon cover as advertised. Easy to put on and take off prongs. That’s it. Very low quality product. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Andrew L. : Easy to add and remove links to adjust for size. Nylon cover goes on easily. Dogs find them comfortable and are walking much better.

cactusflower: This collar is very sturdy for use with my 75 lb., 8 month German Shepherd puppy. This collar will still be able to be used when the puppy is at adult weight of 90-100 lbs. - and extra prong or two may need to be added. The cloth cover is very nice over the collar and the collar opens entirely for use/removal and does not affect his ears. My only issue is that I have a fair amount of difficulty opening the metal clasp otherwise this review would have been five stars.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  I do not recommend this product to anyone. At first I felt happy with it. It seemed sturdy and well made, it worked when I took my Dobie out wearing it. He was attentive and didnt pull, but didn't seem to be in any pain at all. The second time I used it was a complete disaster. The prongs on the collar can easily decouple from each other. This means the collar just falls off. This happened yesterday. The collar fell off and my dog bolted into the street. He could have been killed. When I told this story to a friend, they said they had this product and the exact same thing happened. If you value your dog's life, you will not trust this product. 0/10 do not recommend. I included a video and photos of where it comes undone. Absolutely terrible product.
