MATEIN Rolling Laptop Backpack - Perfect for Travel & Everyday Use!

Janet: I was in the market for a wheeled rolling backpack to bring my laptop and office materials to my office (on foot) from my house. I did not need it for weekend getaways or to pack clothing. I did A TON of research before deciding on this one. And so far, one month in, it's working great! I have a 17-inch laptop. But a lot of the backpack descriptions don't seem to accommodate a laptop of this dimension but I've come to the conclusion that their descriptions are not accurate.

The multiple zippered compartments of this backpack are quite convenient and useful.

I'm happy so far with this backpack and I hope it lasts for years to come!

AmazonLoyal: I had many backpacks and know what I need and want on one. The only downside to this one is that I tend to switch from rolling over long distances and then on my back for stairs and similar situations.
Because the straps on the backpack will drag on the floor if not tucked away, it’s not ideal if you want to switch back and forth.
Only other negative is that there is no strap/clip that goes across chest to keep bag in place. Not everyone may care about that, but I find backpacks start sliding without the clip. Otherwise, all in all- great backpack.

Lexi R.: I travel around Europe. I always bring only a backpack for easy transportation and sometimes i end up in a buildings without a elevator, so backpacks are the way to go. Only thing that sucks is being stuck in an airport and having to carry the thing everywhere.

Here came my solution. 3 1/2 weeks and it worked wonderfully. It carried one swimsuit, 5 dresses, 3 pairs of shorts, and 5 tops. It carried more than that (chargers, extra pair of shoes, etc). Ladies, you get the idea. I even went shopping and was able to squeeze everything in.

The backpack itself is nice quality. The wheels and everything worked fine. I liked how I could tuck the straps away when not it use.

Never had a problem flying with it. I took multiple flights, some small, packed to the brim planes and never had a problem.

Cons:
-no compression straps. as much as a love this bag, I wouldn’t purchase again, at least not for big trips. (Would be a great weekender bag or for a day trip) I need compression straps. My last backpack had it and it’s a game changer. Not just to hold clothes in place, but to make the bag overall smaller.

Size Matters:
First and foremost, the size upgrade from 17 to 18 inches was a wise choice. The extra inch makes a noticeable difference in storage capacity, allowing me to carry my essentials and more comfortably. Bruce C: I use to use a large day pack as my carry-on. I would get the models that include a sleeve on the back so that you can slide it over the handle of the checked luggage. However, the distances between gates as well as to the baggage claim area seem to get longer and longer with every airport renovation. And the weight on my shoulders gets more tiring. So I started looking for options. I wanted a bag that would have the following features:
1) Able to carry it on my back
2) Able to roll it about
3) Have a sleeve to be able to piggy back it on my checked luggage
I could not find one that had all three but this one had the first two and I made a sleeve for #3. I bought a pair of cheap lashing straps at HF for $4 and trimmed the length of one to about two feet. I connect it to the two D-rings at the bottom of the bag that the shoulder straps attach to and lash it. I make it loose until I slide it over the handle of the checked luggage then pull it tight. The teeth on the buckle keep it tight and it has worked fine for the times I needed it. One could conceivably use a bungee cord to do the same but I find them to be too elastic. J'aurais aimé que le compartiment principal soit plus logeable (il a 6" au niveau des roues et 4" près de la poignée). J'aurais aimé avoie 6" d'un bout à l'autre afin d'y loger plus de vêtements ou autre.
