Beth Jones: I used this as my carry on for my recent trip to Italy and I could get just as much in it as I could get in my rolling luggage carry on size! I was so happy with it. It was so much easier to carry on my back that to deal with the rolling bag. all the zippers and spaces were wonderful. It was lightweight and expanded to fit so many things. I would recommend this bag to anybody. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Aim: We bought this for an extended trip to Europe, with the idea that a roller suitcase may not be great when encountering stairs and cobblestone streets, as we would be changing cities every 2-3 days. The backpack is great. It's about the same size as a traditional plane "carry-on" suitcase, so can fit lots of stuff. The backpack straps are easily removable (tucked in) for when you prefer to carry the bag by hand with one of the 2 handles. The backpack has several usable compartments. It is very well built.

Desert Pickle: Three weeks in Europe using only this backpack. I knew we'd be on and off planes, busses and trains and wanted my hands free and didn't want to be dealing with a suitcase. Didn't want to check a bag after the baggage fiasco in Amsterdam last year. No size issues with any airline and easy to lift into the overhead bins. Nice that it has grab handles on both the top and the side. Of course the backpack straps made carrying it a piece of cake. Plenty of room for three packing cubes, a pair of shoes in the big compartment. File folder full of guides, printouts and other paperwork in the center compartment. Front outside zipper caught all the receipts, paper boarding passes, bus passes etc. We were there in the early fall so didn't need to pack heavy winter stuff. Although I probably could have packed an additional fleace and a couple more long sleeve shirts. This this is flexible enough to overstuff. Couldn't be more happy with the performance of this bag.

Jennifer: This back pack holds so much stuff. I went to Europe for 10 days and only took this bag. I packed 3 dresses, 2 pairs of sandals, a large bag of toiletries, 4 shirts, 3 pairs of shorts and a pair of jeans, plus swim suit and undergarments, a charger and a book.

The bag itself is a little heavy, but it’s durable and holds a lot. It has a chest strap to help you carry it but does not have a waist strap (kind of wish it did). Also no side pockets, but I can live without them.

This was able to count as my “personal item” for an economy flight on American Airlines, however I wasn’t willing to risk it on Ryanair and purchased the 10kg bay upgrade for 20 euros. I might have been able to get away with it but didn’t want to get stuck paying 60 at the airport. Also, this bag, even stuffed full, did fit under the seat in front of me but it left very little foot/leg room.

Overall it’s a cute bag that’s very versatile and I’m glad I got it! Oh, and don’t freak out like I did when you get the bag, the straps are zipped in the back pocket 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️.

D Az: This bag is great, whether you roll your clothes or fold them, it holds two full outfits, a gallon zip lock of socks, undergarments, toiletries, tablet cords and I didn’t have to check it in. You can put shoes if need be. I didn’t. I was trying to avoid checking this in because it has so much room. You could fill it up.

Many compartments, in the front and back, has a belt to hold your clothes in place. A place inside with a netted zipper pocket for toiletries. I used this to travel within the US and Europe and had no issues having this under the seat with American Airlines and Ryanair. Granted you could fit more outfits and unzip the zippers to expand the bag, but I’d be afraid it would be too puffy to put under the seat in front of me. So I opted to pack light, and do laundry while traveling. It’s soft so if you do stuff many items in the main compartment, it’s not going to take much room, you can squish it under a seat if need be. There are side straps to tighten the width of the backpack once your done and it does make it more compacted to squish it under a seat.

L Parent: I can now confidently write a review of this bag after using it for three European trips since May 2022. It is absolutely fabulous! My first use was a week trip and the second and third trips were for two weeks. It is a clamshell design and if you pack efficiently (I rolled most of my clothing) it fits everything you need. During the past two and a half week trip, I bought a few extra gifts and some clothing and it was quite full. I used the expanding zipper for the first time. I had looked at $200 bags when I was hunting for a clamshell backpack, but went for this one because of some of the more helpful reviews. I was nervous because of the cheaper price and some of the negative reviews. I am so glad I did. It is solid. No sign of tearing or stress in the straps or zippers. I have walked through big airports with this on my back and it is perfect. I admit it is a bit heavy when standing with it in your back for long periods of time so take it off until you need to walk with it. The bag is so well made, very sturdy fabric, very sturdy straps and very good zippers. Very very happy with this purchase. And even with the expanding zipper open, this bag will easily fit the suitcase...
