Dorothy: I was so happy to find that this beautiful book with its wonderful story was re-issued. I loved the colors and the realistic illustrations from my childhood. Just wish the format were larger; this is about 1/3 the size of the original. The story is a fine Easter tale about a bunny who is curious about what’s inside a giant egg.

Profumo dell'amore: I am a nursery teacher and got this book for my children. The story is so sweet and the illustrations are lovely. We enjoyed reading it together. ❤️

Vivian Campbell: I had hoped that the book was larger since my audience is senior citizens and preschoolers. At least an 8×10. It's a great story, and worth sharing. Larger pictures are always a plus. Thank you.

Amazon Customer: Precious book. It was one of my kids’ favorites. I pulled it out of the box of books I saved from way back when, and my 2 1/2 year old grandson love, love, loves it! He asks for the Eggggg Boooook after they get off the plane and walk in the door. So sweet. He also really loves the Little Golden Book about Timmy (“I can do it by myself”), The Cat’s Pajamas and Caps For Sale. All four are great books that little ones love. Glad I kept them! The Timmy book is cheaper through eBay. Sorry Amazon, but shouldn’t have to pay a fortune ($29 plus dollars) for a copy of a small book (originally cost me .69 cents). My grandson cried when he went home and asked for the Timmy book, and they didn’t have one. So, I got a cooy of all 4 of these favorite books for him, since he loves them all. The Egg Book has really cute pictures and is about a bunny who finds an egg and wonders what is inside (a boy?), falls asleep, it hatches, and then nudges him to wake up, etc. It captures their interest.

さくあやちー: 薄っペラペラで、紙質もあまり良く無さそうな安っぽい感じ、そしてサイズも小さいので、購入を検討中の方は理解した上で購入したら良いと思います。でも本当に絵もストーリーも可愛くて、額に入れて飾っていたいくらい素敵です。
あと、残念なのは、完全版より１ページ少なく、一文カットされてます！！！
最後の方の、And jumped on top of him と、And rolled him down a hill. の間に『And threw a little rock at him』という文と絵があるはずなのに、カットされてます。
バニーくんが卵にしたことと同じことを、卵から出たダックくんもバニーくんにやる。という大事な部分だと思うのですが、一部カットされて残念です。

Diane Uhre: As a former kindergarten teacher, I shared this book over and over again with my classes and later with my own children. Now I am gifting it to new babies! The illustrations are beautiful and the story of friendship, heartwarming. The reactions by young children when they realize that the duck mimics the actions of the bunny are priceless. This is a timeless picture book to snuggle up and enjoy with your favourite youngster.
