Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This is my second set of these, my first pair lasted 6 years of diving all over the world- easy stuff in Belize, ripping currents on Polynesian atolls and sea mounts in Socorro. The blue pair in the photo.

Those got lost off the back of a livaboard in a storm in Papua New Guinea after the mooring line broke and we almost lost the boat.

They were starting to wear a bit at the bungee attachment points, but to be fair, I think it’s because they got mixed up in Socorro for a day and another diver with much larger feet crammed his giant foot into them.

Yes, you can get a bit more power out of Cressi or other long skin diving fins (have fun inside a wreck with those, or packing them) and a lot of fins will give you as much fine control, but nothing else on the market gives you the control with the power.

I got stuck with a loaner pair of fins - Scuba Pro go travel fins in PNG and on the first dive in a current I missed the Avanti Quattros.

If you use them a lot, you’ll eventually wear out a bungee strap, but it’s a wear item, so buy a spare.

Freewind: Belle, morbide, ottimi visibilità, ma i materiali si rovinano subito, le precedenti pinne avanti 4 mi sono durate 10 anni ed ancora funzionerebbeeo, queste invece dopo 2 anni sono già tutte rovinate e questa sera il cinghiolo si è spezzato a metà, con le precedenti ho fatto molte molte più immersioni e non ho mai cambiato cinghiolo, i materiali di questa versione li trovo molto più scarsi..

Die Alex: Neue Flossen für mich gesucht und diese wurden empfohlen. Ich bin Sporttaucher, also nur im Urlaub. Mein Anspruch: gut für den sog. Frogkick und gut für Strömung. Leider, leider ist die Qualität sowas von mies derzeit, was früher wohl nicht so war (mein Mann hat diese Flosse schon länger, daher die Vergleichsmöglichkeit).
Problem: Bungeestrap ist während eines Strömungstauchgangs von der Halterung gerutscht, weil die Halterung zu weich ist!!!
Ich habe also kein Vertrauen in diese Flossen mehr & suche mir was Neues. Schade.

Chrismar: Habe mir diese Flossen gekauft,
da ich das Modell beim Tauchen immer mal wieder als Leihequipment bekommen hatte und damit recht zufrieden war. Die Kombination aus Flosse und Neo-Boots finde ich auch sehr praktisch da ich bei den Flossen ohne Boots oft das Problem hatte dass sie mir an der Seite eingeschnitten hatten.
Die Qualität ist einwandfrei, wie man es von Mares als Traditionsmarke erwarten kann. Die Farbe ist auch sehr schön und leuchtet auch auf beim Tauchen noch so schön knallig und verliert nicht die Farbe. Auch kommt man zügig voran.
Was mich allerdings irritiert hat war, das Gewicht der Flossen bzw die Schwere des Blattes. Ich hatte beim Tauchen und Schnorcheln nach einiger Zeit schmerzen am Fußspann. Das war echt unangenehm. Hatte ich so nicht in Erinnerung aus der Vergangenheit. Wer im Vorfeld weiß dass er oder sie Probleme mit den Füßen hat, sollte ggf. Eine andere Flosse mit weicherem Blatt nehmen.

Christian: Die Flossen befinden sich gerade mal 10 Monate in meinem Besitz und haben einen Tauchurlaub durchstehen müssen. Vor dem ersten Tauchgang des zweiten Urlaubs reißt beim ganz normalen Anziehen der Bungee Strap...
Aber es wird groß als Alternative zu Stahlfedern beworben. Ersatz gibt es nicht unter 33€...

Nachtrag: durch Amazon wurde unkompliziert eine Rückerstattung vorgenommen, deswegen habe ich meine Bewertung geändert. An sich sind die Flossen nämlich gut. Ich hoffe die Bänder der neuen Flossen halten länger.
