Ashley Houghlan: Though my teenage daughter tells me I’m “cheating” by using these for lap swimming, they have helped me unbelievably! I’m a thick woman and have a very week left leg due to sciatica and a bad SI joint. 3 spinal surgeries have not helped this leg at all so I swim to hopefully build strength.

Socks fit a bit strange but they protect feet from blisters.

infantry292: The fins fit snug in the draw-string bag, you're not going to have much room for anything else. Your keys and wallet can fit in the side zip pocket. This is travel-light carry bag, long draw string so you can fit it over another backpack.

The heel straps needs to be water-fitted, it's a tight fit. There's no buoyancy, be careful when tightening them in the water! If there's a current, do it dry (land) and just use oil or more likely, your SPF.

The sock L/XL fits perfect for a size 10 (US), just know the socks won't stand alone as water shoes. Get water shoes with rubber soles always. Also note, if you're in rough currents, the socks actually help the fins fall off easier. In smooth seas, they're perfect for a secure fit on the fins. Otherwise, you don't really need the socks.

These fins have a great push, snorkel or scuba. If the current picks up, it won't matter snorkel or scuba: you have an open heel short fin with medium stiffness, no split blade. These are made for comfort and calm waters. If that's where you're going, I highly recommend these fins!

Lochlan Longstrider: I purchased a used pair via Prime. At first, the straps were a complete pain in the fingers to adjust; you really have to pinch the adjustment toggle hard. Then I figured out a hack for these. Lube up the straps at the interior clinch point where the rubber ribs interact with the resin rod. I used a few drops of Dry Line bicycle chain lube; however, even olive oil would probably work. The lube allows the rubber to slip better saving your fingers in "pinch mode". I probably wouldn't use WD-40 unless I wiped it off with alcohol once adjusted (which I did with the Dry Line). This hack allows you to do a dry land adjustment prior to entering the water when you may need to cinch up on the slippery rubber. I hope this helps and keeps you from returning this item when it actually works fine.

MJR: I have a mens size 9.5 foot. So I ordered a Medium (size 6 to 10). It says Medium on a sticker on the box. But I have to tighten the back strap ALL the way in order it to fit my foot, and hold it in place. There is no way a person with a foot smaller than mine is fitting in this thing. If I loosen the strap, there is like 4 inches of gap, so someone with a size 13-14 can easily fit in these things. There are no markings on the flippers them selves, so no way of telling if it is a medium or not. Only thing I can think of is that it is a large (size 9-13), and it was mis labeled when packaged. I'm keeping them because they do seem like good quality, and they do fit, sort of. I'm going on vacation to the beach next week. If all goes well, then this is my only review. If there is something wrong with them, I'll update my review and take away stars.
