FINIS Training Swim Fins, 2 Pack, Black

Margarita: 7 weeks after total knee replacement surgery, my doctor recommended I use these to smooth out the kicking stroke and easy the stress on my new joint. These fins work perfectly and are really high quality! I need to put them on while in the pool which makes it easier to slip them on. I wear a women's size 10 shoe and bought the female 10-11 size.

Tea and ChocolateTea and Chocolate: New fins user, buying primarily for exercise and to strengthen lower half. In my search I read a review that someone thought Zoomers were a better quality and more stiff. I bought 3 brands (Gintenco, Speedo, and Finis Zoomers) and did not notice any to feel like a lower or better quality. However, the reviewer’s assessment that these are stiffer than other brands did seem to hold true IMO. For me, that created more stress on my ankles than they are ready for, and since distance/speed isn’t my goal, I sent these back in favor of a more “floppy” and cheaper brand. I just started using the other brand, so it’ll take me awhile to form an opinion of lasting quality. Additionally, all 3 brands had a “lip” of extra thickness where the toe area meets the top part of the fin. This area was irritating to my feet trying them outside the water, and one flipper had a different thickness in this area than the other, particularly on this pair of Zoomers. In the water it wasn’t as irritating, but I still plan to buy socks and put tape over this area to smooth the ridge on the Gintenco pair I kept.

I HIGHLY recommend if someone is ordering online, they should take a paper...

LaurenM: Short fins are highly suggested equipment for competitive swimming, but the variety of brands and styles can be intimidating. The short blade and positioning the ankle at a better angle vs long fins promotes a quicker kick to match stroke which helps to match tempo during training. Tried Sporti’s version which were much more stiff and loose… honestly could not swim 25 years without pressure on my ankles. The Finis Zoomers seem to be the perfect combination of thickness and angle, providing much more comfort for long training sessions. I wish I wasn’t persuaded by price (Sporti is cheaper) or flashiness (ex: Arena has some really cute colored PowerFins!) and went with the Finis Zoomers right from the start- these are the right fins for me!

A Shopper: After trying several fins, Arena Powerfin Pro, Speedo Training Fins, Speedo Fastskin Kick Fins and Seac Shuttle Flex (in multiple sizes too), I eventually ordered the Finis Zoomers Gold. A much simpler design than the other fins tried but due to the better fit, they have been much more effective for me. I have slim feet (wear size 40 in shoes) and ordered Size E. They have been fantastic! The snug fit has enabled me to focus on swimming rather than being distracted by the fins (as with the others that I’d tried) - they are simpler in design than the Speedo and Arena Fins but the better fit of the Finis Zoomers Golds gives my legs and lungs a much tougher workout. Very happy with my purchase; would buy this brand again! Simple but effective!

SteveM: I rarely write reviews but felt the need to because the looseness gave me blisters in 4 areas on both feet. And I am an avid lap swimmer using training fins for years.
The men’s size range of 11.3 to 13 was too big for my size 12. I would not recommend this product unless your feet are at the higher end of the range.
Unfortunately the smaller size is sold out.
