icu nxtimeicu nxtime: It is nice and large perfect for what I needed it for.
I took off one star because of the 360 view of the back it is NOT as pictured but it doesn’t affect the overall operation.
I just feel that descriptions should be accurate when selling products.
I like the plastic faux grey wood bezel.

Amazon Customer: READ THE DIMENSIONS! This clock is huge, so if you’re looking for an enormous clock with enormous numbers, this is for you! It was a LOT bigger than I expected and I was considering returning it but I discovered that Amazon has changed their return policy so there are no longer free returns in my area, so I gave it another chance.

JudinJudin: The sole purpose I purchased this clock was for the self-adjusting feature advertised. I followed the manual. The clock did not adjust itself at first . To EST time. Note: I live in grimsby, Ontario. after a little over 24 hrs the clock adjust itself. I will keep you updated on whether the clock adjust itself when daylight time changes in winter.

nikkolausnikkolaus: I've had this clock since 2020 and I just use it as a quick glancing clock to check the time, and temperature. I am disappointed because when daylight savings hits, or I have to change the batteries, this clock has NEVER auto-adjusted the time, after day 1 use. The screen artifacts and shows ghost-images for a few seconds (~10) when ever something touches it. The batteries sent with the unit from MAXELL were discovered to be leaking acid, even though they were before their expiration date. Not a happy camper through all this mess. I just wanted a no-BS clock that adjusted itself - even basic $10 watches can do that. Even when you manually try to force the time to update, it says that it's completed the operation and it just never changes. Even if you leave it for multiple hours it will never change. I've also seen issues with the temperature reading - between 2 devices, this one and an $80 tower fan, they have a 3 degree difference in temperature read-out. You may say "ooooh 3 degrees..." but the difference between 80 and 77 is pretty noticeable. I was not impressed with this unit.

Cons: - Temperature sensor is very sensitive to direct sunlight, but that is to be expected

Summary: You cannot go wrong with this clock. It is always showing the precise time and it is very easily readable even on a distance.

chiaroscurochiaroscuro: I purchased this wall clock 2 years ago, in January of 2020. Originally I enjoyed the large characters and humidity/temperature functions, which was one of the reasons I was willing to spend 80$ on a simple clock for the kitchen. As somebody that is nearly always a little late to meetings and appointments, I have a habit of putting all of my clocks ahead by 5 minutes, including the one in my car. This has worked for me for years, as I rush to leave the house at 8:15am when it is really 8:10 for example, and end up right on time. Anyway, after ordering this wall clock, which was to be my primary time piece as I make breakfast and get ready for work, I adjusted all the settings to my preference, including disabling the automatic atomic clock adjustment feature. I set the time forward 5 minutes, punch in the date, and all good. Right? Not quite. A month later, I walk into work 5 minutes late, and checking my cellphone, I see that this is really the case. What the hell? The next day the same thing happens, and I realize it is the WALL CLOCK returning to "standard" time. After 48 hours, the time has finally adjusted properly. All is great!

Pic 1: After 24 hours, the time had not set properly--the time zone was not correct (it says "E" instead of "P"). In this pic you can see the dimension (clock is 9 inches high, and the time letters take up 4.5 inches of that)
Pic 2: After 48 hours, with some nice hand holding from support at Marathon, the clock did set itself properly. I've taken a pic with one of the jumbo clocks we own.
Pic 3: It FEELS slimmer, but is it? Here is a pic of the slim and the jumbo from the edge angle. (It's only slightly slimmer, but somehow it feels a lot slimmer than it really is)

I own five Marathon clocks. Most of them Jumbo sized. My favorite configuration is just like this slim one: time in huge letters (with seconds), temperature, date, AND humidity. it can get very dry in higher altitude, and it's nice to have a reminder to turn on the humidifier in my bedroom.

overall, the best thing is marathon is a good company. they've been making nice, atomic clocks for awhile. after purchasing from amazon, they send a follow up email--and this time, i actually wrote back to let them...
