Dinesh Kumar: It's for very small size area. Not enough for a room. Working capacity is slow because of its small size. Prices have almost tripled. It should have been at Rs 2 to 3 thousand.

Arvind: My room was always smelling bad. I always started sneezing on entering room. Almirah had silver fish type insects. I realised that this was due to high humidity in the room. On using this product, all these problems have gone. If you are living in a humid atmosphere, this product is a must on medical point of view.

Richard S.: This little Makayla Dehumidifier is perfect for my space. It has cut the oppressive humidity levels considerably during this Texas summer and kept the humidity in the room at very comfortable levels, 55% or below. The noise it emits is barely audible and doesn't interfere with anything else (TV, phone calls. etc.) Even with the humid Texas summer, I only need to empty the water collection container about every three or four days, and it is simple to do.

Lilly: Used this to pull humidity out of the air in our master bedroom and bathroom. Works efficiently and is quiet. East to dump the water tray too. Only has one setting. Would be nice if it had a low and a high. But you can’t beat it for the price!

Amazon Customer: I've used many different dehumidifiers before, and I have been disappointed by either the lack of function or loud noise that keeps me awake. However, I've been using this dehumidifier in my bedroom for the last two months, and it really works! It's quiet, I barely notice it is on, and I've pretty much kept it on constantly to keep the humidity down. It's helped with moisture control not only in the bedroom but also in the adjacent walk in closet. The moisture chamber is easy to see and change out without issues (which can be cumbersome in some of the big dehumidifers). For the cost and function, this is the best one I've found on market. No leakage. Extremely efficient, quiet, and high quality dehumidifier!

Wendy: purchased the larger size since its not much bigger than the smaller one. this is working surprisingly well and is catching so much more water than a different model from this compan. so the larger size was a good choice. theres not much airflow in the area i use this and in 24 hours it had almost an inch of water in the reservoir. worth it for my health and sanity. its not too loud and easy to tune out. i appreciate this design where the plug is not on the same side as the air intake but it could be better placed. its heavy enough that i wouldnt be afraid of my cats knocking it off the table. as for those looking at the newer model, i chose this one because i dont need the extra functions like timer and i just want a product that works so i chose this one. less fancy technology tends to have fewer malfunctions. the plug is with an adaptor like laptop chargers used to come, so it probably uses a good amount of power. you can attach a drain hose in the front below the air intake but i have not tried this function.

holty: It’s a good little machine, doesn’t collect lots of water, but I suppose that depends on how much moisture you have in the air. It’s really quiet and stays on in the Bedroom while I sleep. Lovely mood lights too, if you have it on.
