I wanted a small, lightweight lock for dashing into a store for a few minutes. I use this just through the spokes to keep someone from hopping on and riding away. It's usually too small to go around something like a post but sometimes I can lock the rear rack to a railing. This is not a lock for leaving a bike for a long time outside. It's for short term security and ease of carry. I put a piece of electrical tape over the small plate that is used to reset the lock. It would take a close inspection to see what's going on there, and by that time I'm out of the store, so I'm not worried about that. I'm very happy with this lock.

Nice lock, easy to reset the code and use, but the opening is very small and barely fits around my bike and the bike post. I also selected this lock among the other ones because it had a mount for my bike, but the mount is clearly the cheapest and least functional part of the lock. It does not fit snug and has to hang from the top horizontal bar of the bike and not vertically like my last bike lock. It does what I bought it do so 3 stars

Was delivered on time. Lock works great and has a durable coating on the shank to protect it from scratching your bike or whatever your using it for. Make sure you note the size of this item. The lock is large but I think it gives you more flexibility in use. We needed a large lock to be able to lock the doors on the refrig ( safety for kids ). Easy to set the code also. Would recommend !
