Freedom DeFreedom De: The lock is quite good and heavy, it feels like a good quality, not as good as other known brands, but good enough for my use.

The only disadvantage is that its not easy to install it on a bike with thick metal bars.
I had to hang it in front of my bike as you see in the picture.
This is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Mike Robinson: Bought as a second d lock with a lead. The 1st goes around the front wheel and attached to werever, the 2nd d lock goes werever too but the lead goes through the pedal,rear wheel ,and then attach to d lock. I'm guessing I won't know how good the new lock is until I leave my bike somewhere and find it there when I return.

BEDHIAF: Beau produit, de belle facture, mais produit très lourd. J ai un vélo pliant qui a vocation à être transporté un peu partout et quand il faut le porter et bien je dois dire qu on sent clairement la différence avec et sans.... dommage. Mais par contre, il doit certainement être très efficace contre les tentatives malheureuses...

MVL: I moved into an apartment 4 years ago that has a very public parking lot. My motorcycle may not be top of the line and expensive, but I don't want anyone messing with it. So, I wrap an extra steel cable I got from a home supply store around a light post to get the distance I need to make it to the bike and then wrap this through the back wheel. I have never worried about it being out of my sight but in a high traffic area.
After 4 years of use and sitting in sun, rain, heavy snow, the lock is still functioning perfectly too.

manoly64manoly64: Impossible de l'attacher sur la potence, la batterie de mon vélo étant collée à celle-ci.
Le seul endroit possible est dans un sac ou sur le porte bagage comme j'ai pu le mettre (voir photo) en bidouillant car la mâchoire est bien pour une potence pas pour un segment petit comme le porte bagage, j'ai donc du ajouter des morceaux de caoutchouc au centre.
Par contre le tout se dévisse et se met dans le sens et l'angle qu'on veut donc ça va.
Il est lourd bien sûr et encore, il faut savoir ce qu'on veut, ce n'est qu'un retardateur de vol, avant d'arriver à le scier ça va prendre du temps
Il n'est pas si petit que certain le disent, j'ai pu attacher ma roue à un poteau.
Certain ralent que le câble est fin, il est juste "en plus" car si l'on veut attacher cadre+ roue +poteau il faudrait un immense U, donc le câble sert à solidariser le cadre avec la roue, c'est bien pensé.
Il est d'une belle finition et de qualité, 3 clés sont fournies, pas besoin de s'embêter à trouver le sens de la serrure ça rentre direct, pratique de nuit.

Couplé à une petite alarme sonore, un antivol de selle et je pense que mon vélo sera difficile à voler,...

Younseok ChoiYounseok Choi: This lock is big enough for lock my scooter. Also looks solid and invincible. Additionally the wire chain will help additional security. I am very satisfied. There is no place to hold on my scooter, so I used cable tie to hold it and it worked fine.
One thing, I don’t like is that the plastic parts that covers key lock. I am not sure if it is strong enough for the fire but generally great for the price.

James Schenck: I did the research and found your U lock (Series U Wodan 16) to have very good reviews from other cyclist. I have a new bike and I really wanted to make sure that it was safe in most any environment, city or urban. I live in a pretty safe area now but this is also an investment in the future.

The lock is easy to use and to mount to my bike frame. Although it is a bit heavy it is very easy to carry in my pack or mounted to the frame. I don't always use the cable that comes with it but it is a great option if I need to leave my bike longer in a higher crime area. I have figured out the best way to lock my bike with both the cable and without and it is really quick and definitely secure. It came with three keys. At first I thought the key hole was damaged because I could not slide the sleeve to show the hole. It was stiff but now loose and I really like that it provides a cover to protect from dirt or rain. The velcro on the cable is a great option too as I have often strapped it to the U lock itself to carry as I ride. There are a lot of great things about this lock and the only thing that I don't like is the button clip that allows the lock to be removed from the frame...
