S.L.64: Nach langer Recherche habe ich mich für dieses Schloss entschieden, das mit ca. 2,07 Kg Gewicht noch akzeptabel- und im Kryptonite-internen "Security Rating" mit 9/10 eingestuft ist.
Für zusätzliche Sicherheit benutze ich das "Kryptonite 808 Kabelschloss Evolution Series 4 Integrated Chain 1090, Schwarz, 90cm" ("Security Rating" 8/10).
Somit hat man alle Möglichkeiten, das Hinterrad mit dem Rahmen und zusätzlich noch mit einem festen Gegenstand zu verbinden.
Wer ein noch sicheres Kryptonite-Bügelschloß haben möchte, der sollte sich einmal das
"Kryptonite Bügelschloss New York U-Lock M18-WL 10,2 x 26,1 cm" anschauen ("Security Rating 10/10),
allerdings wiegt das auch ca. 2,6 Kg!
...oder das ebenso sichere "Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Mini Fahrradschloss, Gelb, Small, Schwarz",
welches ich persönlich aber als viel zu klein halte.

Ulises I.: Lo recomiendo, vivo en una zona peligrosona y aún no lo he encontrado cortado (tocó madera), llevo meses con él y se siente de calidad, peso considerable pero se entiende por la calidad. Buen largo y ancho para ciertos postes de alumbrado.

Kemal: Love the length and the quality. Perfect for locking my ebike. Doesn't come with a mount to attach on the bike’s frame, but I have a rear basket so I just put it there when I ride.

Anon: Lock works brilliantly. I bought a basket for my bike to carry the lock (It's really heavy) You could also carry it in a backpack, but that's the downside of this awesome lock, no place to carry it!!

Jerry: Heavy Duty lock I underestimated the size and weight. But it is great for someone that doesn’t mind carrying it it’s heavy. I liked it but had to return. It’s good for a commuter to work just leave at the rack where you are going .. Thanks

Olan: This is a very heavy duty and well made lock. I purchased this to use with my e-bike. I live in a rural/urban area outside of Phoenix, AZ (not a high crime area) and I've used it a few times going into the local drug store and grocery store. Locking my e-bike and leaving it with this lock on it made me feel that my e-bike was protected. It easily fit into my Arkel trunk along with my additional stuff (repair kit, etc.). It is a little difficult to lock onto a bike rack, but once locked in place appears very secure. My only complaint is that this is the LS (long shank) lock, but the shank could be a little longer in my opinion. Yes it's a little pricey, but it's a small investment when protecting a $2-3K e-bike.

The most vulnerable part of bicycle locks is the locking mechanism and this one here is the most secure in the Kryptonite range.

BAR: This is a sturdy, sturdy U-lock. Is it possible to use an angle grinder to get through it? Absolutely. I don't, however, worry about it because the metal is so thick that it would be a significant risk for a bike thief to attempt it - especially when there are many other bikes secured with cable locks and thinner u-locks around it. My only (minor) complaint is the function of the lock. There have been a few times where a piece of dirt or pocket lint slid into the lock and made it so that the key doesn't turn. Most of the time, readjustment allows the key to turn, and it isn't an issue. I have, however, been scared to be forced to walk home on a couple of occasions.
Overall, I trust this lock, which is the most significant component to this review. Buy it if you're locking up your bicycle in a higher risk area but remember that any lock can be bypassed with the correct equipment.

Joseph Navarra: I got this lock after it received praise from the Lock Picking Lawyer on YouTube, and it really is worth the money. It is easy to use, very sturdy, and it keeps my bike safe both on campus and on my front porch at night. Previously, my housemate has had their bike stolen because a thief cut their combination security cable, but I haven't even had someone attempt to get through this bad boy. I appreciate the piece of mind this lock gives me while I'm out riding.
