Mismom: I was able to achieve great purple shades with the LorAnn purple coloring! I'm using it to dye botanicals and the color dries to different shades of purples deepening the longer they are in the dye. Perfect for Halloween!

Christy schoeller: It wasn’t a terrible product however I did buy it specifically cause it was purple. I use dye coloring for my bath bomb making and this came out more of a deep gray or navy blue. I tried to alter the consistencies and it just never really took. It did also dry out my recipe making my bath bombs too dry.

SAinVA: I laughed at all those Facebook posts about not dying your hair. Well, the joke is on me. I used a color eraser to take out the hair color that was in my hair and was left with brassy blond, so I did a bleach wash and lived to regret it.
I am incredibly thankful to this purple color because it is doing a wonderful job as a toner.
I have chin-length curly hair. I put my leave-in conditioner onto the palm of my hands, then I mix in three drops of this purple color and then apply to my hair. Do not put the color onto your hands first! You will end up with stains that are difficult to remove.
For the second and third day, I have put 3 drops into my conditioner and water mix and 3 drops into my gel and water mix. This keeps the brassiness at bay really well.

I tried putting this into both my shampoo and hair mask, but because I rinse both of those out of my hair, the color rinsed out with it. It's definitely best put into your leave-in conditioner. If you don't leave in your conditioner, try putting...

MelinaMelina: I love that a little goes a long way! I’ve tried a few different options to get our ube color more pigmented. We tried powdered yam coloring & gel food coloring but this worked out the best. It’s also the cheapest out of everything we tried. Didn’t add or change the flavor only the color. Would purchase again :)
