Kristen Nicoletti: The media could not be loaded.  In not 100% sure if this listing is somehow not actually by lodge or if something went weird at the warehouse but I intentionally ordered a Lodge skillet and mine says Valor on the bottom of it and did not come in any branded packaging. What I got was not seasoned, or by Lodge but is the right size. I'm annoyed cause I know this brand is nothing worth what I paid but also it's probably not worth returning. Either way, it cooks food just fine.

MikeH: I like this little pan but even after seasoning well it is still not exactly non-stick like my other cast iron cookware. I will persevere.

Luis Ramón Peña Maldonado: Si buscas un sartén que sea duradero y ecológico es tu mejor opción, es un poco engorro lo de el mantenimiento (estarlo curando o lavando de manera especial) pero es un producto que lo vas a poder heredar a las siguientes generaciones. Una vez que le agarras la onda es super sencillo y práctico.
Además, en caso de emergencia sirve como herramienta de defensa personal.

Mr S MeekMr S Meek: I bought it mainly for Omelettes and am extremely happy with it, make sure to season it before first use, I smeared it lightly with sunflower oil and baked it in the oven at 200c for 1 hr and let it cool in the Oven, there are come great videos on you tube with Kent Rollins if you are unsure how to use and maintain

G-Lynn: In all honesty, I returned the pan because it was smaller than I had wanted. Because it rated 5 stars in my book, I went ahead and ordered the larger pan, the 9" I believe it is. Even though one returned, both are stellar cookware! They will last forever. I'm still learning about the preseasoned character, and will have to figure out whether or not I like it verses the "old style" which I have used for 25 or so years. The old style is smooth to the touch where the preseasoned is a little bumpy and I don't know if it will lend itself to cooking (for instance) a fried egg without breaking the yolk. So far, the egg sticks (where it doesn't in the old style). Apparently, even though washing the (new) pan clean, there must be some kind of buildup of oil or ?? to create a smooth surface for items you don't want to stick to the pan. Anyway, time will tell!!

BBGBBG: I'm writing this review while my 2 egg Frittata with chorizo is cooling down enough to eat. These are the perfect size for two egg... Anything you can think of!

The seasoning out of the box is okay. The picture I have provided are pictures of what stuck to the pan without any oil or pan spray and a second picture with a generous coat of pan spray. I think if I season these four or five more times they should become much more non-stick. But, out of the box they aren't all bad. After I seasoned them myself in the oven 3 times they became perfectly non-stick with a little bit of cooking spray

The overall width of the bowl is 5 in and the actual cooking surface is 3 and 5/8 in.

These are great little pants and I'm going to buy two more for a set of four as every time I use them somebody else always shows up and wants one!

I would buy more of these and give them as gifts as they are great little item . These provide a lot of bang for the buck. Just remember they're small one serving size, and make a great presentation for your guests. Just tell them not to touch the pan!
