Amy M: I have arthritis in my hip. I walk to and from work and I was having problems walking home. I throw this is my backpack, and when I'm walking home I get it out when my hip starts to bother me. It's very light, but I haven't felt like it won't hold me. (I'm 6'0" 185 lbs).

Shawn Parrott: I bought this for my mother who is new to cane walking. This is a very nice looking cane. It seems to be sturdy for a plus size person. It is important to make sure that it is locked in before using. It doesn't unfold and lock itself in place with tension. That would be helpful. I have seen other canes that do that. This will be nice for her to put in her pusre when she is out.
