Joel: This is great extra practice for my children in kindergarten and first grade. It is really similar to the “homework” and worksheets that they are given and do in school. It was very affordable at $3.00 and I trust the scholastic brand for educational materials. I would definitely recommend this workbook. It is independent and interactive as there are parts that you will need to explain or assist your child with, such as completing the sentence and explaining some of the directions. A lot of it my children could do on their own and figure out or guess if they didn’t know. They don’t complain about doing these workbooks and it has become part of our daily routine. These are great to have for schools breaks and summer to not fall behind and work on things that need improvement.
