Eliza Doolittle: Love this book series. We have all the rabbit books. This one teaches primary colors and mixing colors. Highly recommend.

Nan Troxel: This was one of my favorite childhood books, and where I first started to learn to mix colors. I have fond memories of my mother reading it too me, and remember being surprised in high school art when the other students didn't know about mixing colors! (As someone who's always been an artist, that blew my mind and saddened me.) So, when a friend's daughter was turning 1, I decided this was the present to get, a cute fun story that I remembered and loved, that also had educational themes because kids are sponges that absorb information. She told me time after time again how this has become her daughter's favorite book and the one she takes in the car, on trips, and has everyone read to her.
