The bed frame is sturdy and the mattress is firm and gives good support. The frame doesn't make a lot of noise when I shift or turn, and when it does, it's barely noticeable.
The bed is narrow, which I like, doesn't take up too much room, is easy to fold, and is compact for storage. I wouldn't even mind sleeping on it long term because I'm small (5'2" under 120lbs).

Ok let me start off with what I expected.
I expected to open the box and have a giant booklet written in 12 foreign languages with one tiny page of vague instructions written in broken English. I also expected this thing to be highly uncomfortable; knowing my history of laying on these things with springs popping in my back. But..NOOO.
I opened the box with not only one set, but two sets of easily assembly instructions in English. One of them as big as the box and super easy to read. The other was in a small pamplet..same and easy to read.
It took about 10 minutes to assemble and then I laid on it.
This mattress IS memory foam and it's the very firm kind. You don't feel ANY springs. I'm glad it's very firm so it will last a long time. We don't prefer extra firm mattresses, so we threw an old egg crate foam topper on it, made it perfect.
We bought this because airbeds weren't lasting very long with teenagers sleeping over. I'm very happy with this purchase!

bodhitechnica: The size and actual base of the bed is awesome. I love the wood slats much more than wire beds or just fabric cots. The wood gives it an even feel and buoyant feel and does not sag in the middle. I'm 170lbs and i feel well supported on this bed. it is also long enough for me. It was easy to assemble. The mattress is on the firm side and is very unique in a way that I really like but i think others might not. For that reason I would hesitate to buy it as a guest bed for older Americans who are used to standard beds. I would buy it if I lived in Thailand or Japan or for a young person. This would be great for a community or for hosting people from the Himalayas or India. i bought it for a small room where I sleep every night. It has two sides, one side is supposed to be the memory foam side, but they are not that different in feeling. If there is memory foam in it, i did not really feel that at all so it must be like a 1/4 inch thick layer of it, but i personally really love whatever it is made of in its main part. I think this mattress is so different than anything i have ever slept on before. This bed is very good for my back which likes simple supportive firm...

Linda:
So far I really like this cot. It seems very sturdy, was well packaged and easy to put together. There was a plastic cover over the mattress and I did not notice any smell and definitely no mold like some mentioned.
Some of the reviewers mentioned that the slats broke easily. Frankly I don't see that happening very easily unless it was being jumped on or a very large person flopping down on it. It supports a 200 pound person sitting down on it and laying on it. I find it very comfortable. I've not had it long enough to know how the mattress is going to hold up with extended use. I have it on my screened in porch and am using it to take naps on (I find as I get older I enjoy an afternoon nap sometimes.) I would not want to sleep on it all the time because it is narrow (which I knew when I ordered it) but, for a child or young person, I think it would be ok for that also. For for price I think is is a very nice cot and I like that it can be folded up and rolled out of the way. I definitely recommend it ... just don't expect a $400.00 one for this price.

Jason Comely:
After only one day of use and a bolt snapped in half. The mattress feels flimsy, but it is comfortable. There are two versions of instructions on how to put it together, but neither version is clear.
Update: Upgrading from three stars to five, as it has been sturdy and reliable ever since. Still not crazy about it, but I'm happy I bought it.

Gary Sullivan: Had purchase two other beds from diff. companys, one cheaper and one more expencive. Both sagged in the middle and were very cheap in quality. The bed is for my dogs to sleep on at night. Yes they are spoiled. Both dogs weight about 60 lbs. each. As I said they sagged and the legs would collapse when they would jump up on the bed or just changed positions while sleeping. With this bed they don't have that problem. The frame is very solid and the wood slats make the bed very solid and the mattress is great. I even layed down on the bed and found it to be very confortable, and supportive. Molly and Bella could'nt be happier. They find it so comfortable I have a hard time getting them off of it when it's not there bed time. When I let the girls in from outside for the night I tell them to go to bed and they head straight for the bed and plop down. Well worth the price. Would highly recommend.

Sean D.: We got two of these to put in the guest room, comine or separate, they do great. We used a couple big zipties to lash them together. Even without a topper, these are pretty comfortable and feel sturdy for a 200lb 6' guy. Great for occasional use.
