Lightweight, Water-Resistant 4Monster Hiking Daypack - Packable Backpack

DM303DM303: I recently took a trip to Switzerland and Italy. This little backpack was my go to for carrying out items while doing short hikes and checking out the towns. It held up very well! I loved that the zippers weren't super easy to operate because I knew someone couldn't try to be sneaky and open up the backpack and swipe my stuff. It also seemed to be waterproof, as I was rained on several times and carried it in the snow, and nothing inside ever got wet. The pick is from a short hike I did with the Matterhorn in the distance. Best of all, when it was time to move from location to location, this backpack folded up in itself so nice and tiny, it hardly took up any space! Definitely worth the money. I wouldn't even care if it wore out after one trip b/c it's fairly cheap given how useful it is. But it didn't wear out after three weeks of being used almost every day! Highly recommend!

Good for a day pack, holds a lot of items, strong adjustable straps and good zippers. All of the inside seams are reinforced and clean finished so there are no raw fabric edges to fray. Nice little stuff sack that is attached on the inside. Outside pockets for water bottles are very convenient. I use it for my gym things, and to carry small groceries.

Ozgard: So my wife and I went to Europe this fall. It was an 18 day trip. The item that I thought was most beneficial was this collapsable daypack that fits in your hand when collapsed. Packing for a long trip makes you rethink what you will bring. I did use a standard backpack for items I needed for the trip but this lightweight pack was exceptional in its concept. It was lightweight but allowed you to put things you would use during the day and allowed you to put trinkets we found and it also holds a bottle of water. Ingenious!. I loved this day pack. My wife had one too and agrees this is a must for travelers. Highly Recommended.

VeeDubb65: Got the 24 liter version, and it's just about the perfect size for a day hike. SUPER lightweight, and adjustable. I'm a very big guy, and I'm I have room to spare with the shoulder straps all the way out.

Last weekend I had my puffy coat (3xl), my rain jacket, my 7-year old's winter coat, large first aid it, a water bottle in the outside pocket, pocket knife, flashlight, trail snacks, etc. all packed into the 24l. I still had an open water bottle pocket, but it was otherwise really at capacity, and a bit less comfortable to carry.

The only thing that would make it better is maybe a strap up above one or both water bottle pockets for holding something tall like a couple of trekking poles, but when you get a day pack this light, that packs down to the size of a soda can, you have to compromise on some of those things.

The real place this shines isn't for planned hikes through. It shines if you want a TINY pack you can keep in your glovebox, or even in a coat pocket. I can take the kids to an event, and when they collect trophies to take home or decide it's too warm for their coats, and I can pull a backpack out of my pocket.

Canadian Expat: This replaces an older, more technical small backpack. Fabric is very light, a little crinkly, but the pack seems well-made with decent water bottle pockets, and the carry pouch is attached (smart). Pretty good for the price. As for carrying capacity, I was able to fit a shoebox (small shoes, women's size 6!) without a struggle to drop off a return somewhere. I think it could probably carry a couple of bottles of wine, in a pinch. I expect this will become a part of my regular shopping bag rotation. It's really like a Chico bag in backpack form. Giving 4 stars because it's not quite as substantial as I expected and straps seem a little flimsy. It would probably be fine as a small daypack but I'm guessing it would not stand up well to repeated hikes.

katie wiseman: The fact that this bag was SO lightweight was what drew me in. I am testing out a few packs as options for day use during an overnight backcountry backpacking trip, so I need something that is easily stuffed into my main pack.

As other posters mentioned, this bag is super lightweight and is a bit see-through. The material does seem durable despite that fact. It reminds me a bit of those windbreaker jackets my parents wore in the 90s. The pack as two side netted pockets for water bottles. A Nalgene bottle will fit but it is a bit of a tight squeeze. There are two compartments to the bag; the main, larger area that is most of the bag and a smaller zippered section at the top that is fairly deep down the front of the bag.

One thing to note, since this bag is so lightweight due to the material it is constructed out of, there is no structure or shape to the bag. The bag will take the shape of whatever you have filling the bag. It is a bit of a trade off. While hiking a bit, I could tell some of my items shifted in my bag and my sweater was making a bit of a bulge into my back. A bit annoying but again... the bag itself is super light weight and has a good deal of internal...

Sergio: Me gusto por las caracteristicas que tenia, y la puse a prueba en un viaje de 7 dias, la usae todos los dias, compre la mas pequeña pero le caben muchas cosas, mi rompevientos y mis compras, incluso cosas con esquinas algo filosas y sin queja alguna, incluso en los bolsillos laterales le cabe un bote de agua de medio litro sin problema, la use en la lluvia y nada de lo de adentro se mojo excelente producto, veremos cuanto dura en total, de momento me encanto! justo lo que necesitaba.
