tonion: Natürlich habe ich auch einen Wanderrucksack, aber der ist viel zu sperrig, um ihn für einen Badeurlaub zu verwenden. Es braucht Platz für ein Badetuch, Wasserflasche und Kleinigkeiten und dafür ist das Ding bestens geeignet. Nachdem ich ihn voll geöffnet habe, ist es mir auch gelungen auf die Taschengröße zurück zu falten. Das gelingt nicht immer so einfach.

SportySporty: Both are same material and seem well made for a packable backpack. First as you can see in the pictures the water bottle pocket is much more useful on the 30 L. A normal 1 quart water bottle does not fit well in a 25 L and a 40 ounce water bottle doesn't fit at all. See first 2 pics of the 25L and next 2 of the 30. The pockets are deeper and the strap on the 30 L helps to secure the bottles. Next only the 30 L has a chest strap and integrated whistle which makes it more comfortable to wear especially under a heavier load. Lastly the way both of them pack up is very different. The 25 L must be turned inside out and you must fold it in a certain way to get it exactly into the little pack. The 30 L simply uses the bottom outside pocket, which is a useful pocket in itself, and rolls the entire pack straight into that pocket. Very simple. And my wife and I both thought the 30 L was a much more useful size for either men or women.

Very Satisfied Customer: I ordered these as gifts for 3 kids, each in their favorite colors. I was really impressed with how compact they are when they are zipped into their smallest size. When they are turned right side out, and fully opened they have everything that you would expect from a good quality backpack. I was so happy with these, that I ordered the next size up for me, so a total of 4. The colors are lovely and cheerful. I needed turquoise, yellow & green and the turquoise lover accepted the lighter blue, so it was a win-win!

JB: I am a senior citizen. I have purchased two of these - - one for everyday shopping and walking around, and one for travel. I can say that I have taken this backpack on several flights/long trips and it holds a lot. It has several compartments which helps with organizing. I only take a carry on and a backpack for travel [I no longer check bags so as to keep things simple], and I will say that even though it is not expensive and is lightweight, it holds A LOT - including cosmetic bags and items of rolled up clothing. You can adjust the shoulder straps so as to have it tighter so as not to strain your back. It is sturdy. I am very pleased and would recommend it.

Attipaco: Das ist schon der zweite Rucksack, den ich hier gekauft habe, da meine Schwester im Urlaub meinen sah und ihn unbedingt auch haben wollte. Er ist sehr leicht und einfach zu verstauen (falten) und hat viele sinnvolle Fächer. Wir benutzen ihn im Urlaub zum Wandern und für den Strand. Ich hatte vorher ein entsprechendes Model von Vaude und dieser hier steht dem anderen sehr viel teureren in nicht zurück. Bei dem kleinen Maß und dem Gewicht kann man keine Rückenpolsterung erwarten, die wollten wir aber auch nicht. Nach dem Urlaub werfe ich ihn in die Waschmaschine und er sieht aus wie neu. Tolles Teil!

A.C.A.C.: I bought and kept this backpack for its size, pockets, and it holds my 32 oz water bottle (many packs only hold a 20 oz). It worked well as my on-plane “personal item”, beach bag, and hiking backpack for our 2 week trip, but towards the end I started noticing the seams coming loose and some straps starting to rip. Overall I’m glad I had it, but if you need to find something to last you’ll have to spend more than $20.
Best features:
- Water resistant - I didn’t initially consider this feature when buying, but we ended up hiking in light rain for an hour and a half and almost no water got through the material. A few items were moist when I took them out of the top pocket, and at one point I set the backpack on the ground and some books I had at the bottom experienced some water damage, but that was my bad as I don’t expect the material to resist sitting on watery ground for half an hour.
- Sand Resistant - This was surprising and super nice to discover. I plopped this bag down on sand multiple times without considering I’d probably get sand all over and within it, but I’ve now emptied it completely and there’s almost no sand anywhere on or inside it.
