This is a very useful cane for those trying to leave assistive devices behind after a joing replacement surgery. It is an easy transition from the more cumbersome and heavy quad canes, and it helps to wean yourself off of the cane. It gives a bit more support than a regular cane, but you won't be able to lean on it heavily, which is good if your goal is to leave the cane behind

I really enjoy using this cane to help stabilize me and to get around. The only issue that I would have would be that the light in the handle isn't the most reliable & shorts out after a few times of the can tipping over. Otherwise the cane itself is sturdy and fantastic!! Totally recommend!!

Unable to return because it is a DAILY necessity, but it is NOT good quality! While the cane itself is functional, the light mechanism is worthless! My husband has used it for a week, and I noticed a long spring with a battery on the floor. Upon closer inspection, it was the batteries and spring that operate the light. Now that the spring is out, it is IMPOSSIBLE to rethread. As I stated, I cannot return it due to it being the only mode of ambulance my husband has, but it would be the FIRST THING EVER I have had to return to Amazon~. Save the cash and buy one without the added cost of a "headlight" that will not work. It appears to have fallen over on the carpet and not concrete or even wooden flooring. TOTAL JUNK!
