Amazon Customer: There's another famous website that has tons of furniture that I like to scroll through to find furniture beacuse their layout is really nice. But that website renames all their furniture so you can't comparison shop - but you can just do a google lens search of the images and then find other retailers like Amazon who sell the same thing, often for much cheaper. That's how I landed on this bed, it has excellent reviews on both website (ignore the people talking about bed bugs - bed bugs need HUMANS or a host to survive, they are not inherently hanging out in bed factories, they would die - they need a host to survive).

What drew me to this bed is that the upholstered headboard is large and has nice detail. In person it looks very nice. I do think it's a shade of grey - I disagree with others saying it's more olive.

This thing is built very study. The only thing I couldn't do was there's a step where you attached the decorated headboard sides to the headboard and after I did 2/3 screws on each side, the middle screw didn't line up with the predrilled holes in the headboard but this is not a big deal because there is more than enough fastening with the other...

GM: 5/8/2021: Almost 2 years later, UPDATE:

I can’t say enough about this bed. Without exaggeration, it’s **absolutely FABULOUS**.

Purchased this bed 12/2019 for my VERY TALL, now 6’2 teen who is around 300lbs.

I don’t write reviews often. And I definitely don’t go back to review to update them. In this case, I am because I am BEYOND pleased with this purchase STILL!

I was super unsure how well this bed would hold up over time (when I first bought it) because it was not very expensive & how it was made (Never had a bed with wooden slats~ removes the need for a box spring).
I was also unsure because of a few negative reviews at the time. I’m SO GLAD I ignored them & took them with a grain of salt.

My daughter is NOT GENTLE with anything she owns. NOTHING, and I mean nothing without exaggeration, lasts more than 3 weeks TOPS with her if I’m lucky. If there’s a way to break something, she’ll find it.

This bed, to date, is THE BEST online purchase I’ve physically ever made.

BenjaminBenjamin: Let’s get the obvious out-of-the-way. This bed is absolutely beautiful. However, it has its flaws. Despite the flaws, it still deserves five stars simply because of the bang for the buck. There is nothing on the market that comes even close to a full king size headboard and frame for this cost! That HAS to factor in to the rating...and because of that, it allows me to look past some of the QC flaws that I personally experienced and have read in a few other reviews.

The fabric is beautiful and of surprising quality. The silver beads along the wings are a beautiful and elegant touch without making it feel gaudy. Each individual ‘foot’ has an adjustment knob to ensure your bed sits level. At first I thought that was simply a nice, bonus feature. But after assembly I realized it was absolutely necessary. The center frame rails sit at different heights (some due to poor welding of the brackets that make them off center...see pictures). But because I could adjust the feet, I was able to level the bed (though it meant loosening two feet to the point of having all of the screw threads visible).
