K. Shenoy: Simple to install - standard GFCI. Just note that this model since it includes the USB ports is much deeper than a standard GFCI. You will need to have a deep electrical box and make sure you can tuck your wires and still get this GFCI in. Mine was a tight fit but overall it works great!

Dominik BDominik B: I’m giving this 3 stars because it seems unnecessarily hard to install. I understand that gfci + usb is gonna require more real estate, and I am using a standard 2.5 inch box to install (yes it is possible in this box), but why add pigtails on top of that?! The pigtails means now u need an additional 5 wire nuts/wagos on top of the box because thick. To add to that, I didn’t even need the load side., so that’s two extra wires and two wagos ( I guess I could have used electrical tape to be fair), for no purpose.

Otherwise it’s an excellent product, gfci works, matches the other Leviton stuff in my home.

If anyone else is having issues here’s what I did to maximize box space.
1. I used wago lever nuts for everything
2. I cut the pigtails as short as I could so the wago could sit flat against the back of the outlet.
3. The electric box only had one wire coming from above, so I unscrewed the bottom cable restraint to gain more room.

kevin: Unlike a typical receptacle or GFCI that you just stick the wires in or wrap the wires around a screw, these have wires that come out of the back and require wire nuts, which they do include a couple. So just keep that in mind as they need a deep gang box. But they look nice and work perfect.

Dylan Gattey: Overall a 5 star, but I wish it had two USB C instead of one USB and one USB C. It charges my phone quickly from the one USB, and was easy to install/use. The wires are soldered in, so know that you can't swap them out, and the outlet is pretty deep, so you need space in the box to make it work.

L F Wilson: In keeping with the 21st century I knew it was time to upgrade some things in my home. The kids love the usb-a and usb-c charging capabilities. For me I love the GFCI and the small green power on indicator. This is a solid purchase.
The one word of caution is that this is a large outlet and it really crowds the power box.

ftaok: The device itself is great and would really be a 5-star device. Solidly built. USB ports are solid and tight. The receptacles are solid as well.

The downsides are all on the installation side. Like all GFCI receptacles, it’s bulky. Probably as bulky as a high quality 20-amp GFCI for reference. The bulk is to be expected, but Leviton’s design choice to have permanently install pigtails is a miss IMO. Installation required at least 3 additional wire nuts or Wago’s. If you use the load side, that’s 5 wire nuts. If you have a smaller box, it can be quite a tight fit. You may need to switch you existing box with a deeper one, or one of those clever boxes with extra room on the side.

The non-GFCI versions of these have terminal screws that you can connect the conductors right into, saving tons of space in the box.

DominikDominik: I’m pretty happy with it. Make sure your electric box is deep enough. Cable management in the box will be a little tricky but that’s expected with all the all in one usb/outlets because they are just so big. I did get an open box and that’s always disappointing. Someone probably tried to install it and there wasn’t enough room in the electric box.
