Lie2me: This model was not on the recall list of Legrand outlets that was made in April 09, 2020.
The recalled outlets were manufactured in Mexico and sold for between $3 and $10 dollars.
The box indicates this model outlet was made in China.
It costs more than the $10 outlet so most signs indicate this is not one that was subject to recall.
We know this is the GFCI outlet to use outside because it is weather resistant.
Others have mentioned it would be a good idea to use weather resistant outlets near the beach as well.
