Oz: I have a 6 person plug and play hot tub and the GFCI plug crapped out. Local pool and spa supplier didn’t have any in stock so I decided to give this item a try. Was hesitant because of the price but after receiving the item - I was happy with the purchase. Came with additional accessories to accommodate cord size and extra screws. Took me 5-10 min to swap out and install the unit and have my tub back up and running.

Amazon Customer: Unit is easy to install (if you know your way around wire stripping) and works well. The only drawback is that it constantly seems to emit a very faint, very high-pitched sound. While this is perfectly fine for most applications, this turned out a deal breaker for my use (mini split A/C in the kids bedroom, so that sound was quite noticeable at night). Luckily I had a GFCI extension cord lying around so just swapped the plugs - would be totally fine for a shop cord.

confidential: Replaced the GFIC on a Hot Springs Jetsetter Spa new in 2014. Received it in two days. Exact part number as original. It's a bit tricky to slip all three wires into their slots at the same time because they are short; therefore only a 3 star assembly rating. Plugged in and played!! A service call plus the part from Hot Springs would have been about $200 and who knows how long I would have had to wait. They recommend an owner call them for service because they want to test all the componets including the heater. It was far cheaper to spend $20 for this part as a diagnostic tool, which was the most likely failed part, than to call for service. If one is multi-lingual you will appreciate the instructions in three languages: English and I think French and Spanish!

Studduck: I bought this for a replacement on a Rug Doctor. I wasn't for sure that the plug was the problem, but I had a pretty good idea it was because the unit would turn on and off when I wiggled the plug in the outlet. I took the old plug apart and it seemed to be okay, but decided to give this a try. It is perfect. Took about 20-30 minutes to take the old one off and install this one, via the enclosed instructions. Came with a couple of parts with optional size -- which offered the ones I needed, exactly. Got it installed, plugged it in and right away -- my Rug Doctor is buzzing again. I will say I saw a couple of other similar devices and was tempted to buy one of those - including one of the same brand name that came on the Rug Doctor. I decided to go with this one because of it being a brand name. A couple of dollars more and you get what you pay for .... Highly recommend ...

Joshua Fleming: This product is the perfect replacement for a broken GFCI male plug. I purchased this product because the GFCI plug on my electric pressure washer started to fail. The installation of the product was very simple, and the instructions were perfectly clear. I pulled it out of the box, and saw how many pieces were there. After I read the instructions, I discovered that the product will perfectly conform to almost any size and gauge cable. There are 3 foam gaskets with varying size holes on the inside to slip over the wire to create a water resistant seal. The total install time was about 5 minutes, and I could not be more satisfied with the product. I originally looked at the OEM replacement, and it was around $50. I then looked at this product for around $15, and chose this instead. Make sure you verify that the amperage and voltage is the same as the one you are replacing. There are 15-amp, 20-amp, and several others, so just be sure to order the correct one.
I would highly recommend to anybody who is considering this product.
