michael: I also did not read through the product description and assumed it had a regular plug, and when I received the item I was surprised that it was USB powered, which is of course my own fault. The lamp and arm itself is very well sturdy and I like this about it, but it is not as bright of a light as I was hoping for. The dimming is nice but since it is not bright to begin with, it dims from medium to really really dim light. I am not sure why you would need a light this low, maybe reading at night to not disturb others sleeping around you? Decent lamp but know what you are getting before hand.

Gabriel Garcia: This LED Desk light saved my long nights at my in home office space! The amazing part is, it just clips to your desk!!! No need for screws or changing the bulbs which we all know that is just a big hassle this lamp truly is a game changer especially working from home! The LED Desk light has multiples uses as well, the settings is great. Super Bright for when it's the day time, Medium Bright for when you don't need it for close up work and the Dim setting perfect for reading a good book or doing some easy to brush off work at your desk! The fact that it comes with eye wear protection as well is a big bonus from the company as well! The adjustments on them is great in fact I haven't found a position to where I can't get the perfect light ! It's also very package friendly for when I'm on the run this perfect fits snug in my luggage and I'm ready to go! The quality is amazing in fact, the light shines perfectly to your liking and the amount of use you can get out of it is great as well, I would highly recommend this item to whoever is in the need for a amazing new desk lamp!

William: I wanted a new desk light for my desktop, preferably something that wouldn't take up much space which is exactly what I wanted in this light when I found it. A lot cheaper than the other similar styled lights on Amazon, but the one thing that stuck out to me which is probably why it was cheaper, is the power supply. The light is powered by a single usb cord which is not even 4ft long. The way it's mounted on my desk, the cord doesn't even reach the floor which is where my power outlet is! Luckily I have my PC nearby so I can plug it in there, but since I bought two of these lights, now I'm losing 2 valuable USB port in my system. Really wish this light came with an adapter or a longer cord for the usb to reach anything. Really disappointed with that.
Besides the whole power supply complaint, the light itself was easy to assemble and clamp. It's bright and both the brightness and "warmth" can be adjusted to your liking. The arms extend and rotate as needed while not feeling cheap or breakable. I can't fully recommend this light due to the usb issue, but if that doesn't bother you or you have something to plug this into which is less than 3ft away then go for it.

The back side of the light does get a little warm if you have it on the brightest setting, but it shouldn't do any harm. I've had this lamp for a few months now and use it at either at full brightness, or half for around 8 hours a day, most days. Sometimes around 10-12 cause i leave it on cause my rooms normal light is too bright for my wimpy eyes, but it's still working great. I sometimes hold the light to warm my hands; not an intended feature, but a welcomed one!
Picture is with the brightness all the way up in an otherwise pitch black room cause it was night time.
