Amazon Customer: If someone writes a book about crowd funding, they should cover all of it and not just a portion. Crowd funding has serious government restrictions and guidelines and I found this book amazingly incomplete and complete waste of time for my purposes. This book is more about angel 😇 funding.

baydog: This book really gave me a lot of ideas as it outlines the ins and outs and different types of crowdfunding. Love knowing the pitfalls and getting a realistic look at how to achieve an effective campaign. I have a comedy feature film to produce and now I realize that bringing some of that humor to our crowdfunding page will be very beneficial. Creating a community feeling over just creating a product was really helpful to know. The tax stuff was great to know as well - don't want to make those mistakes! Yikes! The breakdowns of what realistically to expect were very helpful. All in all - a homerun!!

Phil Shapiro: The media could not be loaded.  I learned several useful things reading this short, concise guidebook. Some of the most useful parts of the books were the "hard learned lessons" the author shares from his own crowdfunding experiences. I liked the measured, cautious tone of the writing. Too many crowdfunding books have a breathless tone. (i.e. too optimistic)

Michael: What's great about this book is that the examples are pure reality. I mean, it's one thing for someone with a gazillion followers to do a crowdfunding campaign...it's something else for ordinary mortals. It's an engaging book that's worth referencing. On the verge of launching a crowdfunding campaign myself, this book has made me re-think my plans and my strategy. Take a step back and get the advice of someone who's been there.
