kiran kumar vukoti: The Evergreen Startup is an excellent book that helps you in understanding the fundraising method. This book helps you find the way to go out of the normal pitch protocol and realize the strategic partners your company wants. The author's writing skills are highly appreciated, the content is simple and easily understandable, and the phrasing has a simple flow. The book is informative, inspirational, and has a clear voice. Overall, terribly attention-grabbing book, with terribly unreasonable and astonishingly perceptive advice. It's utterly written from a startup's perceptive for the good thing about the setup, and I felt like it ignores all tradition and outlines some helpful different methods and views. It's an exceptional scan for early-stage investors and Startups alike, definitely worth the read. I would definitely recommend it to the early-stage startups that are interested in securing funding.

We know that changing is always vital, but sometimes it can also be quite nerve-racking. Well, don’t get nervous, because Michael uses a simple language and provides us with several explanations so that even tough you are quite new in this area you won’t feel overwhelmed.
Right from the beginning you will be introduced to the key topics about THE Evergreen Startup so that you have the right knowledge to proceed and know how to create your strategy. Honestly, I have never thought why the Evergreen would be the best options, but now I understand that if you have a specific ‘’surprise’’ element, you will be able to prolong your business and take advantage from it as it is unique.

Mikhail: I just want to be clear, I am on the side side of the audience that this book is talking about. This book is for startups instructing them on how to raise money, while I work with Investors to evaluate whether or not to invest. So, I am on the complete other side of this coin. The "advise" in this book makes sense and doesn't make sense at the same time. When I started reading this book I was borderline offended, the things that the author talks about are for the most part accurate. But very taboo, so you never really look at them spelled out so plainly and nonchalantly. The book started in a very confrontational tone, in this respect. It also reduced the role that investors play to a minor part of the "funding equation," whereas most things that I've read and written puts us more or less in the in the center. Like I said, its right and wrong at the same time. One particular part towards the begging sited a whole lot of research and talked about how experts are not good at predicting. That part made me laugh out loud. Overall I found this book to be a very interesting window into the world of fundraising from the startups side. Allyn: I have so much to say!
This was an amazing read for me on so many levels.
First, the author captured a newb here. I was less than a layman, I had little to no working knowledge or experience in this topic, and he schooled me. Which I adore. I am a sucker for learning and consuming information.
The author has a skill for teaching, his work is approachable, informative in every line, but not so complicated it can’t be assimilated. his delivery and framework is sublime. He has a clear beginning, he set up a foundation of knowledge, and then built on that a step at a time, all while keeping the goal over the arc of the work and concluding with a main theme and point.
His writing also has a clear voice. It is not dry, it is engaging, he gives real visuals and breaks down concepts into bites until I realized at the end of a chapter, I had consumed an entire buffet. I loved it.
Overall, this was beyond informative, it was inspirational. The phrasing has an easy flow and the content is paced out perfectly.
